First impressions were not good but once we settled into our clean and comfortable room it didnt look so bad.We had everything we would expect from a two star hotel (dont care about wi fi). Staff were friendly and helpfull. Food was ok we had dinner and breakfast presented in old french style which we enjoyed.None of the breakfast buffet... More

Please stay anywhere but here. Initially looked good, then the lift door tried to eat us - very small. If you have a room at the front you will hear everything and everyone all night in the perfect amphitheatre outside. Smokers, bin lorries, cars. The room had no air con or fan so windows open was unfortunately the case. Papier... More

The hotel initially looked out dated and it is but you won't find 5 star in Corte. But u would of slept on the street just to have experience this amazing old town. It's restaurants, quaint streets and views are all 5 star. We hired a car and used Corte as a base, easy access to Porto vecchio or Calvi.... More

I find it incredible that this hotel was fully booked when we stayed. Perhaps, like us, people had booked ahead not realising how awful the hotel was. Firstly the good points - Price The room was clean Central location But oh dear - 30° C + outside and more in the room. There was no air-con and no fan. Opening... More

Hotel de la Paix is well situated for seeing Corte, it is a basic clean hotel. Our room was very warm as there are no fans or air conditioning, the bathroom is adequate but again clean and basic, there is no wifi in the rooms but this is available in reception. As previously mentioned the lift is tiny, one person... More

Hotel de la Paix is centrally located 5 mins walk from the centre of Corte with car parking (payant) nearby. Our €62 double room was very clean with a good sized and comfortable double bed. The loo, basin & shower were perfectly adequate. For an extra €10 the better rooms have a balcony and larger TV! Wifi does not reach... More

From this two star hotel you can walk throughout the old city. It's quiet location at the end of the street means you do not get any street noise. In fact our room - 304 - had a balcony overlooking the mountains, river and highway in the distance. The road was a bit of a concern at first with possible... More

An hotel which has all you need and is in the centre of Corte. It was full on at least one of the three nights we were there and the staff dealt with that perfectly. It is a 2 star hotel and has all that one can ask for. Of the two of us one was perfectly comfortable, the other... More

Hotel is in a quiet, spacious side street close to the center and within easy walking distance from the bars and restaurants of the main street. Rooms OK, lift fantastically small, breakfast pretty good.
