We actually stayed here for 4 nights in September 2014. We booked dinner just for the first night but enjoyed the meal and the company so much we stayed there for dinner the rest of the stay. The room was nice with a good sized bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities were available on the landing. The hosts were very nice...

A great big thank you to Sara and Jean-Michel for making us feel so welcome in their lovely home, their hospitality was superb with nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was superb, a self service buffet of homemade breads and cakes, yogurt and preserves, a great start to the day. Thanks to J-M for advice on local places to visit,...

Despite the slightly intimidating front gate, this is a beautiful guesthouse with bright clean rooms and friendly helpful hosts and a good breakfast on offer. La Redorte is a quiet but pretty village with a good pizzeria and a supermarket.

Unfortunately our experience did not live up to expectations from Tripadvisor reviews. The house and location looks much better in photos than reality . Our room was clean and reasonably comfortable but sound proofing of plumbing etc was poor. Nice dining room but our shared dinner was very disappointing . Friendly and helpful owners but we have stayed in better...

We have just spent two nights at La Marelle, attending a family wedding. Slept in "The blue room", which was large,as was the bathroom with bath and shower. Everywhere was clean. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts had more choice than can be the case in France. Highlight of the stay was a great four course dinner in...

I was walking along the canal du midi and this B&B was in a reasonably good location - and turned out to be a lovely old school building. Really nice spacious rooms with high ceilings and lovely little historic features. The dining room was massive and felt very grand. Lovely meals were provided and I was well catered for, being...

Close to the Canal du Midi and within easy reach of everywhere we wanted to visit, La Marelle more than met our expectations. The (Blue) room was large by French standards and exactly as the website picture. We slept very well. The ensuite was large and well modernised. The house is dark, cool, and has an atmosphere of calm enhanced...

We had the most wonderful 4-night stay at La Marelle, just 20 minute drive from Carcassone. Breakfast was simple, but the dinners (only 22 euros) were absolutely heavenly, and we met the most wonderful travelers from England who became friends! The room (we were in the blue room) was quite large with a large, remodled bathroom. Not much in the...
