We chose Clos de Hullias for 30 family members to get together for a week of holiday in July, hoping for a mix of lazing about and excursions that could appeal to people aged five to 90 years old. The three main houses and one suite turned out to be ideal to accommodate everyone in just about the right configuration,... More

I stumbled across the Clos on the internet and after speaking with Olivier, we booked it sight unseen. We were not disappointed. The Clos has a rustic charm and is set in a stunning setting. We held our wedding for 85 people there utilising all of its areas - the pretty hilltop for the ceremony, the pool area for cocktails,... More

Very nice place and loads of rooms, two pools and olive trees. It is a bit out of the way and hard to find but well worth the trip. I would recommend if you have a large party or wedding and Oliver the owner is very friendly and helpful.

We rented the Clos d'Hullias over a weekend for our wedding (May 2015), and it could not have been more ideal. The houses and grounds are beautiful, the two swimming pools more than we could use, and Olivier was professional, welcoming and friendly, taking care of us in an unobtrusive yet thorough manner throughout the whole planning and execution process.... The Clos d'Hullias' old stone buildings are full of charm and surrounded by breathtaking countryside. We had a fantastic holiday for a week, with different members of our party renting various houses within this medieval hamlet. Those we saw were decorated in a simple yet attractive French style. Each house we rented had a large terraced area for eating outside... More

Stumbled onto this accidentally and stayed there for 10 days in May 2003 with 16 college students (Davidson, NC, USA). We all so absolutely loved the place that I repeated the experience in 2007 and, again, in 2012 with more students at the conclusion of 4-month long, 5 country educational tours of 'Lands of the Classical Antiquity'. The tastefully restored... More

Dating back to at least 1601, the little hamlet of Hullias is a fascinating place. Renovated into a B&B still run by Jacky and Francois it is a beautiful place to stay while touring the Orange area. In the country, it's quiet at night and offers great views during the day. The vineyard at the bottom of the hill offers... More

We just spent 4 days at the Clos d'Hullias for my 50th birthday. We were a group of 20 people and rented the 3 houses with their 2 swimming pools. We all had a really wonderful time. The houses have been renovated with taste. The setting is idyllic and the views breathtaking. Really the perfect setting for any kind of... More

60 KM to the Norhtwest of Avignon, just over the Rhone River, you'll find Clos d'Hullias. Offering three separate houses on the grounds, hosts Jacky and Francios provide the opportunity for visitors to utilize them as 'your own home.' All houses have been modernized and have dishwasher and washing machines. Activites range from sitting around one of the two pools,... More

Clos d'Hullias is a remarkable place that is very rustic and beautiful but has all the mordern conveniences for a long stay. The common areas with the two swimmming pools were great place to relax, drink the local wine, and take in the views. The scenery is wonderful. Jackie and Francois are very nice hosts and are very accommodating. They... More

“The Owl House in particular was very pretty and spacious. We found the living space in the Blue House quite a lot smaller and darker, despite having more bedrooms. It would benefit from removing a bedroom on the ground floor and opening up the living area.”
