Traditional family-run hotel in Crete, with fantastic view over the sea, clean and tidy rooms and at very economical prices. Close to the beach and only a couple of min away from the centre of the village Agia Galini.

It was the most comfortable and relaxing holiday we have had for years. Wish we could stay for a little longer. I have never come across a place cleaner than this one and I’m a very fussy one on that front. Just loved that safety, care free feeling even during covid times. Perfect location with the endless sea everywhere we looked and the moon rising right in front us every night. Excellent atmosphere with the friendliest and ever so kind hostess Hariklia. We had an excellent time and can’t wait to be back! Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. Maria-Joanne

Hariklia welcomed us just after dawn broke following an all night flight and drive to Agia Galini. We were extremely early for check in and in urgent need of sleep. She immediately jumped into action and provided us with a temporary room in her beautifully decorated family owned hotel where we could rest until our room was ready. The entire experience was absolutely delightful! Our room was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and very clean. Every room had marina and sea views while the outdoor terrace with chairs and tables provided us with the perfect setting for breakfasts and evening cocktails. The communal kitchen is convenient, especially for guests who wish to economize. We really enjoyed the restaurant recommendations and beach destinations that Hariklia made.…

What a lovely hotel from start to finish, it was a great stay! Rooms are spacious & clean, everything you want from a family run hotel. Location was spot on, right in between the beach & the harbour where you will find many restaurants & bars all in walking distance. They have a lovely terrace where you can sit having your breakfast or a quiet drink in the evening, the views are amazing. I thought the self-service kitchen was a great idea especially for anyone on a budget. I had a wonderful stay so would definitely come back & recommend it to my friends & family.

We are sitting on the terrace of this beautiful hotel. Our last evening before going home. The sun is setting and enjoying a glass of wine. The glass came from the self service kitchen and the wine from the supermarket next door. A week here is not long enough. The hotel sits above the quaint village of Agia Galini with views of the harbour. The owner Hariklia is very warm and friendly. The rooms are spotless and a very good size. By the kitchen there is a small library where previous holiday makers have left their books. We’ve had a wonderful stay and hope to return. You can book direct and even if you turn up late like we did, Hariklia is there to welcome you with a smile. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were here for Holiday in Agia Galini. We had such a great Time at the Hotel Hariklia. It is a small and a familiar Hotel and you have everything what you need. There are very clean Rooms with a Aircondition. The Beds are very new and also very clean. The Bathroom is also in a perfect condition. If you want to enjoy a relaxed Time and the village agia galini we can absolutly recommend this place every time. The Hotel is not a commercial Hotel. It is a familiar Hotel with much love to the detail. We can say Thank you to the Hotel Hariklia for such a nice Holyday.

These family-run rooms are just perfect for those who don't want to overpay for accomodation and don't expect formal service. Clean rooms, air-conditioned, with fridges, common kitchen with everything one needs to cook breakfast or else, great view, short walk to the beach as well as to restaurants and other food points. Super-helpful and friendly owner Hariklia (she even helped our firends to sort problems with broken car, which was so nice of her). The only category of guests I wouldn't recommend this place to is family with young kids: you have to watch out for moving vehicles in snaking streets of Agia Gallini, this location is at particulalry sharp bend. Also not for people who don't like climbing hills and stairs.

It's hard to beat the value for money of this little, quaint hotel with its beautiful, huge bougainvillea roofing the nice terrace overlooking the Agia Galini's harbour. We stayed in the smallest room but it was still very comfortable: air conditioned, very clean, good wi-fi connection, with a big, good bed, a fridge, a side console, and still some space for our many suitcases. The host is very welcoming and very helpful with recommendations about places to go to. Agia Galini is a nice little town with a decent buzz and in the middle of an area with quite a few good beaches.

We first visited Agia Galini in 1988 & fell in love with the place .. This year we stayed at the lovely Hotel Hariklia, owned & run by the lovely Hariklia . From our trouble free booking to our arrival , a thoroughly enjoyable holiday ...our room was perfect with fab sea views ( it's worth the 100 or so steps back up from the village) .. The whole set up with the communal kitchen is great , so easy to prepare breakfast etc . Spotlessly clean .. Perfect .

Agia Galini is a very nice, small Cretan village. Hotel Hariklia is the best place in the village with its view, cleanness and the kindness of Hariklia. The price is absolutely more than fair, the rooms are very clean, comfortable and with air condition. There is a kitchen and big balcony where you can enjoy your eating, cafe, beer and look the excellent sea of Agia Galini.
