We stayed here, sadly, for just one night...wish we were here for longer. On arrival, we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and were suitable impressed. The room was large and pristine in white. The view here is great, as with most caldera hotels, but its the staff who make it extra special. Everything is looked after and service is...

First tip of Santorini - try to arrive during the day. First sight of Santorini and arrival on the island is simply mindblowing. We arrived at 10-30pm with our own car and struggled to find Chromata (even having been to the island a few times before) and when we did find it we struggled to find a parking space. Luckily...

I have traveled the world and this is, by far, one of the most amazing, if not THE MOST amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. Immediately upon check in we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was beyond fantastic. The view is breathtaking, hard to even describe in words. The view of the sunset at Oia is beautiful...

Santorini is full of stairs in general, but be prepared that Chromata is nothing but stairs... even inside your room! Since it is built into the side of a mountain, they had to work with some architectural challenges. There are steep stairs in the rooms that lead from the bed area to the sitting area and then down to the...

On arrival you are treated like stars, personally shown around the hotel and its facilities by a member of staff whilst your cases are taken to your room. In fact the 'star' treatment continued throughout our stay. The buildings are all white which makes for a tranquil atmosphere when so high up. The views are simply tremendous. Breakfast is served...

Hugging the steep slopes of the cliff of the collapsed caldera, obviously the first thing one notes is the absolutely stunning view of icy blue waters of the central lagoon and the islands of Nea Kameni and the smaller Palea Kameni far, far below. Generally I am not one to gush, but this has to be one of the world's...

Lovely rooms with super comfy beds. Excellent breakfast especially when enjoyed from your private terrace overlooking the caldera. Pretty village location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very, very good cocktails!

I honestly think Imerovigli is the perfect location to stay when you go to Santorini. It is away from the bustle and crowds of Fira and Oia. But they are both also easy to access. You'll have to go to Fira Stefani or elsewhere for the good meals (except one restaurant in Imerovigli that the hotel recommends: Agnosi or something...

We were completely spoiled on our first trip to Santorini by this lovely, boutique hotel with excellent personal service and the best views you can possibly imagine. The rooms are quite lovely and luxurious also. The view from our veranda was breathtaking and could be seen from the moment we opened our eyes. The design of the hotel makes everything...
