Beautiful property with some insanely breathtaking views. Many thanks to Kristos firstly for staying up late to receive us well past midnight and ensure a smooth check in. Nice comfortable room well equipped with more or less everything we needed. My only grouse was the 2 Euro charge for the coffee and that only one water bottle was provided on the first day. These are basics provided free of cost in most tourist locations across the globe. Thanks also to Loukas & the smiling staff, especially the hardworking housekeeping lady who made sure our room was kept tidy at all times. Good fresh breakfast was served daily which we enjoyed in the balcony soaking in the stunning caldera views. Ideal location to stay in Santorini with Fira at walking distance and the hike to Oia very much doable from here. All in all a fantastic memorable stay , we would love to come back here!

This is definitely a well worthy stay with such an awesome view in front of our Junior Suite with Outdoor Hot Tub and Caldera View! The staff are friendly and giving us detailed useful info for the stay, plus helping us on carrying our heavy luggage up and down to the villa is definitely a hard work that should be praised. Highly recommended!

Outstanding location high on the Imerovigli cliff - the view from our terrace was amazing and spectacular - the room was spacious and beautifully clean with modern finishes. The staff were friendly and helpful and could not do enough for us. This place has the wow factor.

Loved the whole experience. Waking in the morning to a beautiful view and then watching amazing sunsets from the privacy of our terrace overlooking the caldera. Roberto brought delicious breakfasts to start the day. Loukas and Kostos were always available to help with reservations and to answer our endless questions. We walked to Fira and took a bus to Oia. They were lovely but crowded and touristy. Our little slice of heaven was peaceful and we could sit on our terrace and enjoy the scenery without throngs of people walking by. I will try to post a picture but it won't do this gem of a place the ten plus stars it deserves.

Great accommodation and lovely breakfasts provided each morning. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, in particular Chris, Robert and the lovely lady who cleaned our room every day. Great facilities with sufficient crockery / pans if you wanted to self cater. Lovely view from our balcony which was great to relax on with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or the cruise ships sail away at night. It’s in a hill so be aware you will be up and down a lot. Not a problem for us but I wouldn’t take small children or aged parents as in a lot of places the paths are uneven in the area and on the walk into Fira. Lots of restaurants to choose from with varying prices. De finally let suggest the gyros from Balla ! We were there for a week and saw 2 weddings next door to us - both beautifully done but did feel anbit odd that we were laid on our sunloungers whilst they were saying their vows !!

Our stay at Vallais Villa was one of the highlights of our vacation in Greece. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel if you plan on visiting Santorini. Excellent, friendly service, fantastic breakfasts served on the patio or in your room, clean large rooms, and a view to die for. The location affords the best sunset views on the caldera. We would not hesitate to book again!

Our stay at Vallais Villa was perfect in every way. Stunning location, quiet and romantic. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in room #3 and the room was spacious, comfortable, well laid out, spotlessly clean and the view from the private terrace was breathtaking. The value for this hotel is outstanding, and the photos don’t do it any justice. We were absolutely blown away! Thank you Loukas and staff!

Our experience has been a complete fable. We enjoyed the famous Santorini sunset every evening from the outside of the apartment on two sunbeds. The staff is incredibly kind. They gave us all the information we needed about Santorini and they made their best to ensure us a perfect holiday. Beds are comfortable and the air conditioning saves lives because clima is very hot there and humidity is unbearable.

From the moment we were met by the taxi driver to the moment he dropped us off, we had the perfect time in Santorini in the perfect accommodation. For us the location is perfect. Away from the hustle of Fira and Oia but close enough to visit when you want to. You can get some relaxation time in after a day walking the island or doing some shopping. The room was beautiful. Bed set back, ample storage, extra seating, kitchen facilities, lovely bathroom and cave style shower area. The water will spray out of the shower area but tilt the shower and put down one of the towels; not a problem. Breakfast was served freshly to your room/outside when you call after 8am. Plenty to eat and some left over for lunch. The outside area is perfect for sitting out in the morning/evening with lots of space for the sunloungers. The hot tub is a lovely option and perfect for that caldera sunset. I can't imagine why you need to go to Oia to see the sunset as you are staying in the perfect spot !! Tips and tricks. Mostly our opinion but it might prove helpful. A small jacket might prove helpful in the evening as it gets cooler. While the island is a wonderful romantic setting, it's not somewhere I would bring kids as there isn't much for them - just my opinion. The paths are often cobbled, certainly not smooth and the walkways can be steep in places. I wouldn't recommend it for those less mobile unless you're happy to pay for taxis everywhere. We took walking boots for the walk to Oia and they were great. Some people were in flip flops and I've no idea how they managed it !?! Travel - we walked from Imerovigli to the outskirts of Oia in 2 hours without rushing. It does get hilly and I'd recommend doing it early in the morning to avoid the heat of midday. The bus station in Fira is chaos. You pay on the bus. Some buses have no signs as to where they are going. How someone doesn't get knocked over, I have no idea. The drivers aren't much help as they can't be bothered - most are just ignorant. They might stop, they might not. The conductors will short change you by a euro or 2 if they can. Taxis are all standard prices and not cheap. We tried to walk where we could because the views are amazing but walking uphill will tire you out eventually. if I went back again, I would hire a car for sure !! Do visit Ammoudi Bay at the bottom of Oia and eat at Dimitri's. You'll walk it off back up the 350 steps !! Not badly priced and lovely views and food. We also, ate at Tholoto in Fira (off a main street) so not the greatest views but lovely food. Shout out for Rare in Imerovigli - nice people and they do a lovely steak. Tip - they do a 3 day ticket to visit Akrotiri, Fira and Ancient Thera (now that is some walk) museums. A little saving but you have to do them in 3 days. Amazing information if you're interested in that type of thing. I wasn't enamoured with the beaches but I didn't need to be with the accom we had. Last but not least, a shout out for Loukas and the team. Thanks for an amazing visit and for looking after us. We might just be back to Santorini and I wont be going anywhere else but Vallais Villas !! Hope me the price please.

Highly recommend Vallais Villa. If we come back to Santorini, this is where we will be staying. The price is incredibly affordable when you consider the top notch customer service, spacious & clean rooms, breathtaking caldera views, and private hot tub to name just a few things that make this place great. They deliver breakfast to your room, set up dinner reservations, make recommendations, coordinate rental vehicles etc. I actually cannot think of a single negative thing to say or complain about.
