We're family of 4, we stay 3 nights during winter season, found out that the whole are in 500m radius...we're the ONLY tourist stayed at that area. Think of the privacy we had, and I would like to say...it's safe. The hotel free airport pick-up was well arranged.

We a couple in our 20's spent five nights here in September, 2012. We were a little apprehensive in advance of our stay due to some very mixed reviews we had read. However we were pleasantly surprised by Irini's. Firstly, this is all based on the area we stayed, most of the adjoining hotels and resorts rates were exorbitant in...

We booked through Hostelbookers for four nights, for our honeymoon, I sent an email to the hotel to let them know that it was very important to treat us well. We arrived at the hotel and were diverted to another hotel because they were overbooked, the reason for the deviation is that other customers had paid more for the room....

You can see a fantastic view of white-washed villas/apartments on top of cliffs and caldera view. 20-25 minute walk to central town - Fira. There's a nearby supermarket, rent-a-car/atv shops, wine shop, restaurants. Peaceful place - not so crowded.

“Lower suites involve descending a lot of steep steps - be warned if you have heavy bags. Upper suits 6&7 relatively easy.”

“The last room down the steep mountain is the best since there are nobody on the sides. However, it is also the one with the most stairs to walk so maybe not the best choice if you are not physically fit!”

“All of the rooms have nice views to the sea. The only thing that you have to have in mind is that if you´re taking heavy luggage you´ll have quite a nice exercise because there are a lot of stairs and no elevators so....keep calm and keep making fitness for it. I guess most of aparts in Santoniri use to have stairs without any help of elevators.”
