We arrived at this hotel and were unable to get in even though we had booked a room. We phoned both numbers listed outside and emailed them to no avail. It is now 3 days later and still no word. This is absolutely disgraceful
I only stayed 2 nights at Malu, but it was a wonderful stay. The place is beautiful (with a gorgeous view from the terrace and places to lounge). A few minutes from the beach and the historic area, so close to everything you want to do. Breakfast is Italian style--croissants and coffee, so basic but good. The b&b is owned by a family who all work together to make the stay great. I could have stayed longer, and a great place to relax and catch your breath after traveling. There is a lift so if you have heavy bags like I did you can get to your room easily! I would stay here again.
We stayed 3 days here. The location is top and also the view from our room was amazing. However the breakfast was quite less, and when we were running out of shampoos they did not replace it just throw away... so for 800 eur in a bed and breakfast you can expect to have shampoo and enough breakfast too. I recommend their private boat tour, it was worth. 40 eur /person 1 hour.
We were greeted by Paulo who was extremely welcoming and allowed us to check in early - he showed us around our unit and then showed us more surprises with the rooftop breakfast area. The breakfast the next morning was outstanding - the whole family were in attendance and nothing was too much for them to do for us.
We stayed here for 2 nights during our Puglian tour. The hotel is very well located, right overlooking a small bay inlet with views of the old harbour town, and fab views of the rocks where the Red Bull diving takes place. We had a top floor balcony room, No. 9, which was perfectly OK. However, for me, it was rather dated and offered poor quality furnishing/no toiletries etc.,for my liking, plus a very hard bed and pillows. But it was clean. Bathroom was a bit cramped, not much vanity space and shower a bit small. Breakfast was a bit minimal, mostly cakes, but the coffee was good and the views amazing.. The owners are very helpful and advised on all restaurants etc., and we parked the car not far away. I would recommend Malu for location, the helpfulness of the owenrs, but would not recommend for a lengthy stay as facilities bit limited.…
Very clean place, conveniently located right next to all the cool beaches. The best thing about the whole B&B is the terrace on their 3rd floor, which most of the time was completely empty. The only downside was breakfast. I estimate the total cost of everything offered at breakfast is no more than 20 euros. Everything was very sugary and artificially flavored, nothing really homemade. I think if at least some omelet was offered that would make breakfast more enjoyable. Otherwise, good place
We arrived to be greeted by Paulo who then arranged for a Tuk Tuk to follow us to park our car and bring us back. This was a great start to the holiday and fun . Hotel is immaculately clean and our room 5 overlooked the sea. Breakfast is served on the terrace upstairs and you have a great view and you can use this area throughout the day/evening. There are comfortable chairs and loungers. Breakfast is sufficient. Centrally located you won’t get better. You can watch the world go by from your balcony and the locals jumping off the cliffs! Great stay highly recommend
Good size room, very good service ... great advise on the city and surroundings. Roof terrace as a great view for Breakfast. Location is brilliant surrounded by very nice restaurants and bars. Will be back
We enjoyed a one night stay at Malu B&B. We were welcomed and given good advice about the sights in the area. Parking was arranged at a fair cost as anticipated. The room was comfortable although a little cramped. Breakfast was excellent on the roof terrace. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were picked up at the airport. Stunning view. Great rooms. Courteous staff. Great breakfast. Very close proximity to all shops and restaurants. Clean. Modern. I Definitely 100% would recommend Malu.
