Well where to start! Driving up the hill and seeing Podere Salicotto is just a beautiful site. Exactly what I wanted when I booked it online. Silvia was nice enough to greet me earlier than normal as I was not feeling well. She even came by in the evening to make sure I was O.K. The next night was the...

Dear Guests, Thank you so much for being with us and taking the time to write your review. We were very glad to meet you! You know a lot about our country and Tuscany in particular and your knowledge of our language is stunning. We wish we could speak Japanese, at least a little bit, at least to say "thank...

Silvia and Paolo are a most charming, considerate and amicable hostess and host, whose elegant realm, Podere Salicotto, perched on a secluded promontory just 2 km. east of the pleasant and agreeably unpretentious little town of Buonconvento, offers timeless views over classic spare Sienese scapes, more or less unchanged since the Renaissance. Silvia’s savoury breakfasts will gird you for the...

It's been a little over a week since we reluctantly bid farewell to Silvia and Paolo, our very hospitable and charming hosts at Podere Salicotto, and I can't help but wax lyrical about our stay. It was our first visit, and as we approached this beautiful, uncluttered domain with its quintessentially Tuscan cypress and olive-lined drive, a sense of well-being...

We stayed three nights early October 2016. First of all, Silvia and Paolo, hosts of Podere Salicotto, were super-friendly. We had a great fun having dinner with all other guests. This accommodation is well-located and very close to attractive small towns and villages like Montalcino, San Quirico d’Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano, and Siena, within 20-50 minutes’...

Ciao cari, We were impressed by your knowledge of our language: you have studied it only for one year in order to enjoy Italy better, its gourmet food and wine and art. You are amazing, brava! I had the opportunity to stay at Podere Salicotto for six days as part of a women's tour of Tuscany. The Villa is beautiful with picturesque views you would expect to find in Tuscany. I loved waking up every morning, walking out my door and seeing the landscape (rolling hills, trees). Silvia and Paola were incredibly warm and inviting. They...

We stayed at Podere Salicotto for a week in October and were incredibly impressed with both our hosts and the property. The attention to detail was amazing, rooms were beautifully appointed, and breakfast each morning was delightful! The property is secluded and peaceful, yet in close proximity to many hill towns including Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano. We definitely will be...

We had a great week as a family of 4, taking two rooms at Podere Salicotto. Rooms were clean, had everything we needed and comfortable. Swimming pool was excellent. Lovely breakfasts and, best of all, were the views and the general area where it is situated. Silvia and Paolo were also lovely hosts.
