Just back from our holiday. Hotel great. Staff very friendly. Had large balcony with 4 sunbeds and table and chairs. Bathrobes and beach towels supplied with rolls left on door every morning which was a great touch. Room clean with all facilities though we ate out most days. Pool area kept clean. Tino at the pool bar kept everyone entertained and great food and drink very reasonable. Only problem was it was at front and noisy with traffic and bars across road but we got used to it. Fridge was leaking when we arrived but after reporting it, was fixed in 15 minutes. All in all a great holiday and would definitely return to the hotel

We stayed at the Lufesa for 2 weeks in Oct. They are lovely little apartments we had one with a small balcony which didn't get much sun. But we were out most of the day so it didn't really matter. Beds were changed 4 times towels were changed every other day and the room was cleaned everyday apart from Friday and Sunday.
The only thing that spoilt it was the Karaoke bar dead opposite us called Bro's Bar the music was fine till about 12am then they cranked it up so load. We don't mind people having a good time that's why we go on holiday. But this place is still at full volume at 4 in the morning so that's the only thing that spoilt it. We were on the 4th floor right in the middle so the noise seemed to come directly at us. But all in we had a great time and will definitely return hopefully to a different room.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at Lufesa. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. Pity about the 100 euro cash damage deposit. We were allocated room 303 which was small but had all we needed. The balcony was quite large (not Terrazamar large) but adequate. The sun rose behind us so we then had the sun all afternoon until sunset. Two sunbeds with reasonably good cushions. The hotel provides each guest with a beach towel which we didn't use and a bread roll every day (Hung on the door handle). The pool was a decent size and there were plenty of sunbeds to go round. The refurbished Shopping Centre with access to all the bars and restaurants, was literally across the road. Good for ease of access but not so good for late night noise. Bring earplugs if you are not one of the ones partying until 3am. Being old duffers we are half deaf anyway so it didn't affect us. The cleaning lady who did our room was great. Pleasant, thorough, efficient and willing to work round our daily schedule. The reception staff were always very helpful. The aforementioned Terrazamar would have cost us nearly 500 euros more for the same weeks. Very expensive for self-catering. We will certainly be returning to Lufesa and thoroughly recommend it. PS each room has it's own free wifi.

I am writing this really to let anyone who has a wheelchair know that this hotel really has it all. As a wheelchair user myself, i always find it so difficult when searching for accommodations as they rarely clearly put that there are ramps or wheelchair access making your search for a holiday a lot harder. Me and my sister went to this hotel in 2019 and had no problems at all with my wheelchair whilst here. Access to the pool is good and shops are literally across the road along side eating places. we have booked to return for another holiday due to good access. it is nothing fancy but if you want a nice easy relaxed holiday as a wheelchair user, we found this hotel just fine for us. on the plus side they have a pool size bar too and the beach is a lovely walk where it was easy for me to push myself and take in the lovely views on the way. I hope this helps and that anyone else who is a wheelchair user could do the same and let us know if you have had a good time and easy access on your holiday anywhere

Great holiday at this gem of an apartment complex. We arrived after midnight due to a flight delay and were checked in very quickly and efficiently . Our room and all the public areas are spotlessly clean. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Yes, it is a little dated but that was Ok with us. Shower was lovely. We asked for extra pillows and they were sent up within minutes. It was very hot so we did pay extra for the air con which was definitely needed and was 8 euros a day. There are cute little lovebirds and budgies in reception and an extensive library of paperback books if you need something to read by the pool.
The pool is large and warm with plenty of sunloungers available and a nice little poolside snack bar. The complex is also directly opposite a supermarket and the Commercial centre. We didn't use the Commercial centre as we prefer the restaurants at the Mogan mall which is a five minute walk.
Points to note - the pool bar is cash only.
The air con and payment for late check out (30 euros for the whole day) is payable in cash.
No more bread rolls in the morning and no bathrobes or pool towels either. We bought towels across the road for 6 euros.

Would definitely stay again. We were directly facing the bars at the commercial centre and with the door closed there was no noise.

My husband and I stayed here at the end of October and had such a great time we’ve booked again for Easter. We had a studio that was big enough for the 2 of us with a big bathroom. Fresh bread was delivered every morning and we had a ceiling fan above the bed which was all we needed. The room was cleaned every day and sheets changed. The pool was great and the couple that run the pool bar were lovely. Good prices too. There are not many apartments on the flat so this was ideal as we didn’t want to walking up hills all week. Loads of bars and places to eat right opposite. It is loud at night from the bars opposite but not too much of a problem once the balcony is shut. We fell in love with Puerto Rico. I have never returned to the same hotel twice but couldn’t resist this place. The beach is great and a short walk down the road or you can walk a little further over to amadores. We preferred the sand at Puerto Rico beach as it was softer. Can’t wait to go back.

Stayed here for two weeks and of sept beginning October for my 40th birthday the place is lovely , the rooms are good size , each room has its own Wi-Fi which is good , and every morning fresh bread gets delivered to your room and is hanging on the door handle. The pool is good size and it’s clean and tidy, Tino behind the bar and his wife are lovely the food is really nice and good portion size. Be dry convenient location just across road from shopping centre , lift to all floors and rooms . The only thing is we had to pay £100 deposit for room etc which we didn’t know about and was £100 less that had to spend as they give it back as you leave, would have been better had we known but had a fabulous time and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was very lovely. Our apartment suited our needs and was very clean and comfortable. We didn't feel the need to pay for the air conditioning but we did pay for a safe however the safe didn't work and we were refunded our euros. It was a nice touch to have bath robes to use along with beach towels. We were informed at check in about bread rolls for breakfast, we only had them left at the door once. The apartments are located across from the commercial centre with bars, restaurants supermarket and local stalls, it can be very loud at times from the bars but we got used to it. The new Mogan Mall is about 5 mins walk away too. The pool area is great and the cafe/bar is a great addition always plenty of sun loungers and space available for all. It was relatively quiet when we went. We walked to the beach about 10 minutes away and also walked to Amordores beach which was about 30 minutes away, plenty of beach bars and cafes. The local bus station is also a short walk away and the buses are very efficient. We enjoyed our time at Lufesa and would recommend.

The apartments are in the centre. Wich we wanted with a couple of our party having mobility problems. Right now the bad points the beds don't have mattresses on just a thin mattress topper what is hidden on the pictures. It was that uncomfortable my husband didn't want to go to bed. We don't usually leave reviews. But we booked with tui for 2 weeks and was the worst holiday we have ever been on. Plus it wasn't cheap. So please be aware there are no mattresses on the beds

A lot of the resort is built on the hills but this hotel is on the flat and from there you can walk to the beach or go to the entertainment straight across the road with easy access
