We normally stay in Marina suites on our yearly trip to GC however this year tried PC situated across the street. Although comfortable this is not a posh in anyway. We stayed on the 4th floor in block B facing out to the harbour. The terraces are large and private but You cannot escape the noise from the road even inside with the doors closed. The room is cleaned everyday apart from thurs n sun but the coffee n tea is not replaced after using 2 sachets provided. We were woken every morning at 9am by the cleaners in the rooms above moving furniture to clean which seemed to go for an eternity so we just gave up and had no holiday lay ins. The pool is ok but is surrounded by a big stone wall so there is no view. No process were advertised on any meals in restaurant so we never ate there. Staff were polite. Next year we will definitely return to Marina Bay and not Puerto calma. MB is a bit more expensive so you definitely only get what you pay for.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property so much so that i have booked to return next month. Rooms and pool area were spotless and quiet. Staff were helpful and friendly. Pool towels can be borrowed from reception and the rooms were cleaned every day. The bar was very quiet but the drinks were lovely and the view from the terrace is stunning. A lovely selection of restaurants across the road and a bar with live music makes it a fab location.

We came as a family of 8. We had 2 x standard apartments and 1 deluxe apartment.
Fantastic resort!!
Firstly the reception staff are incredibly helpful and happy to help. 5litre water can be bought from reception for 1 euro 50 cents which is a god send in this heat!
Apartments are spacious and airy. Fully equipped to cook full meals for the family. Plenty of storage for all your things.
Cheryl, Jenna and their team in the bar are so funny and helpful. British couple with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Harrison is a credit!!
Pool area spotless with great facilities, no music around the pool but the pool bar/snack bar/restaurant caters for your music and sport needs.
Over the road either by steps or slope there is 7 or so restaurants and a Dino supermarket which is open 8am until 10am and you are about a 15 min walk to the harbour all flat surfaces. Another 10 min walk.from the harbour and you are in the main eating area in puerto rico and another 5 mins gets you to the new Mogan shopping mall.
Overall a fabulous stay and would 100% stay here again!

We ended up at this hotel after getting our hotel that we had been to previously changed with 48 hours of travelling so we were a bit apprehensive.
No need to be worried though it's fabulous.nice steady 10 minutes walk into the main Puerto Rico resort where there is an amazing beach & everything you need if it's quiet or lively there's something for everyone.
The hotel is very clean with a nice pool area & a lifeguard on duty.only negative point is the "shallow" end is a meter deep so any non swimming children need arm bands although there is a small round jacuzzi pool.
We were surprised iron, ironing board, hair dryer,TV,wi-fi,bath robes, safe, air con are all supplied free of charge which is a refreshing change.also beds are very comfortable.
Balcony is huge with a stunning view of the Marina with table, chairs, sunbeds & clothes dryer all supplied free of charge.
Can't think of anything negative to say about this hotel we will definitely be returning

Hi
Actually still holidaying at this hotel at time of writing this review.
Let’s start with the good points. Rooms are well equipped, modern with a large balcony. Rooms have been cleaned every day so far (day 5). Our room faces the hotels on the other side of the road ( which is the opposite block to the marina view rooms) but you still get a great view of the Marina and the sun gets to the balcony from around 2 and sets around 8 at this time of year. Pool area is clean and has plenty of beds so there’s no need to get up early to secure a decent sunbathing spot. We get the top corner away from the pool over looking the Marina which is a terrific view. Hotel Location is fine for us, it takes around 10-15 minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and closest main shopping centre.
Now the bad points…
The Wi-Fi doesn’t work which didn’t really bother us as we still had full use of our phones. The sauna and gym which are advertised on most sites do not exist anymore which was really disappointing. Reception is only open from 9.00 until 4.00pm with an emergency number to call if needed out of these hours. Anyone who likes to watch tv while away, well there’s only 3 English speaking channels which didn’t bother us but there you go.
Overall we would come again and our main priority when booking a hotel is something that is clean with a nice pool area and not to far to walk to the amenities and this hotel ticks all them boxes.

Lovely hotel and great value for money. The hotel is very clean and tidy. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great and we could always get a sunbed easily. The pool was perfect temperature and pool bar had a happy hour in the late afternoon which was 2 drinks for the price of 1. The hotel was in a perfect location and not far from shops/bars/supermarket. I’d definitely return.

Fabulous stay. The apartment had everything we needed, even a dishwasher! It was spotless and we loved the big terrace. We were not in the block directly facing the marina but our view was still spectacular as we were on the top floor. Reception staff was always helpful when we enquired about things to do in the area etc. Lots of restaurants, a pub and a supermarket just across the road and everything else was within a short walking distance or a very cheap taxi ride away (taxi to commercial centre was never more than €4.50). Our teenagers adored the heated pool and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Very relaxing.
Highly recommended!

One of the best resorts we've stayed at in the Canaries. Our apartment had a very big balcony, with sunbeds, table and chairs. The air-con works very well. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a good kettle, juice maker toaster, and coffee machine, big fridge and freezer, and a dishwasher.
VERY comfortable bed. Good TV with a few English channels (BBC1, ITV1 and Channel 4, as well as Sky News and Sky Sports).
I've never seen such a thorough person who cleaned our room. It was spotless and cleaned every day.
Good location as very close to a decent supermarket and several restaurants. Especially recommended is the Chinese restaurant, KAI, and the El Cenador, which is the first one you come to as you enter on the top level.

We only stayed for two nights as my husband and myself went to join friends for a 50th birthday celebration.
The hotel is so very clean, our apartment was spotless. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a lounge/kitchen area and a separate bedroom. The kitchen was really well kitted out with good quality appliances, a full sized fridge, microwave and hob.
The balcony was stunning. Space for 2 sun loungers, table and four chairs and large comfy cushions. The view was stunning.
The bar and pool areas were clean with again great views. The cost of drinks were very reasonable. Opposite the hotel was a well stocked small supermarket and a few bars and restaurants.
A short walk into town and to further bars and restaurants.
All the staff were so friendly.
We will be back.

We have been to this area before in the past some years back. We decided to go to the Holiday Club Puerto Calma which has been refurbished. In the past the place was tatty. Very nice apartment overlooking the marina and in the distance the beach. Nice views of restaurants a short walk from the apartments. The apartment was well equipped modern and clean. Pool area had plenty of sunbeds. ( December) Restaurant and Bar, food was good but not brilliant. Happy hour 1600 hrs till 1800 hrs very enjoyable. Staff friendly and helpful and polite. Place again was very clean hope to get back in the near future. There is a mini bus (shuttle) to another beach area. Excursions can be booked at reception, boat trips available nearby. Lots of restaurants shops and a new Shopping Mall a walk away, or short taxi ride cheap price. Different days Market Days. All in all a enjoyable stay.
