finca vista bonita what can I say wow what a slice of heaven when I arrived in tenerife my breath was taken away with the beauty of the island then i reach finca vista bonita all my stresses of my normal daily life just vanished this place is a little slice of heaven , so peaceful and the views are to die for .
The apartments are everything you could imagine you have your own front door leading in to your hallway to your living room with patio doors leading out to your own private
Balcony with breath taking views of tenerife and of the stunning gardens , you have your own kitchen , a double bedroom and a huge walk in shower.
There are steps leading down to the gardens were you will find sun beds or if you would rather swing lightly their are hammocks
The garden leads round to a hidden gem the build in a cave heated pool and jacuzzi which is so calming and you do feel at peace.
Carry on round and you will find the office and more magic , you can have a number of different massage from a highly qualified lady. Next there is a gym , you also have the use of a washing machine and tumble dryer €3
If thats not enough and you want to have a adventure and explore tenerife under the sea then there is also a diving experience you can do with a highly qualified diving instructor.
The staff of finca vista bonita are so friendly and helpful and have made my stay a magical ,stress free experience and I will definitely be coming back
Highly recommend 👌👍👏

We have just returned from here after a 5 night stay in ( Perro) Dog apartment.
What a fantastic place apartment was perfect for 2 & beautifully decorated even down to the light switches which were china with blue flowers on.
The Shower in the bathroom was huge & beautifully tiled.
Everything was perfect. Sat out every night enjoying the breathtaking views, & made friends with the lovely German couple in the next door apartment.
The Pool & Jacuzzi were inside a cave totally unique never seen one like it before.. ( not heated when we were there due to covid) The pool is indoors in a enclosed space & restrictions are still tight out there so the owner is not allowed to heat it until restrictions are lifted.
This did not spoil our stay as there is lots to do.
They have a games room with a pool table & lots of books. You can book a massage & treatments, they have a meditation room & even a Gym.
The gardens are well fenced so safe for young children & even have a small kids play area.
There are hammocks to relax in and enjoy the views, also a lovely bbq area.. There is a laundry room with washing machine & tumble dryer all for 3 Euros a bargain.
If you love walking there is plenty in beautiful countryside.
We ate in the restaurant just across the road & also down in San Miguel 10 minutes away, lots of places to eat, loads of shops, a supermarket & a delicious bakery.
A perfect place to holiday if you want piece & quiet and to clear the mind.
We will definitely return again as was 1 of the nicest places we have ever stayed in & cant recommend it highly enough.

Our little place of paradise. Was so sad to leave here, it felt like our own place. The peace and location was idyllic, service was excellent and apartment was beautiful. There was a wee pool in the cave which felt cosy and private. Host and hostess were so fast to react to any questions we had about linen etc.

I’ve just return home from Finca Vista Bonita after having to miss a couple years. I would like to say a huge Thank You to Beatriz and her very attentive team here (Nati and Toño). They leave to guests to relax but are around to answer and advise us on any questions to we had to make our vacation more enjoyable.
The pool and jacuzzi area are warm, inviting and with stunning views over the south of the island, what more could you want.
The calm atmosphere, cool breeze and sounds of birds tweeting , it’s hard not to relax and be a peace.
Recharge yourself while resting in one of the hammocks in the garden, perfection.

We stay at the Finca Vista Bonita twice a year and have done so for the past 6 years. The Finca is tranquil and peaceful, allowing us to relax and recharge in a beautiful environment with stunning views. Life here is quiet and straight forward: good accommodation, easy parking, nearby shopping facilities, but above all an oasis of calm.

Think of Tenerife and visions of masses of high rise hotels and apartments come to mind.
But Tenerife is a Spanish island. Playa las Americas and Los Cristianos can hardly claim to be Spanish. The southern coast of the island is a vast multi-national swathe of mass tourism. If that’s your idea of heaven, good luck to you. Even Puerto de la Cruz in the north is giving way to the hoards of visitors from northern Europe.
If you’d like a flavour of Spanish life on a Spanish island there are places away from the hotspots to enjoy a more tranquil sojourn.
15 minutes from Reina Sofia airport is Los Cristianos, but also in the same time the charming town of San Miguel can be reached. A request for the Finca Vista Bonita to the taxi driver brought a shrug of shoulders and a blank look. But contact with his colleagues elicited the location. The road from the airport zig-zagged its way uphill for the 7 kilometres to the town followed by another kilometre round more bends to arrive at the Finca.

A finca is really a traditional Spanish farmhouse or country dwelling. Vista Bonita is actually a small complex of 14 apartments built in the traditional style – 11 one-bedroomed plus three two-bedroomed. Not as isolated as some fincas we were on the edge of the town and soon discovered a short cut to the centre down a steep street – that’s OK but coming back up is not for the less agile.
All the apartments have large terraces with stunning views over the farmland, town, airport and down to the coast. In the distance can be seen the outline of Gran Canaria. The siting of the terraces means the sun is captured for most of the day. Breakfast on the terrace under the blue skies and morning sun will remain in our memories for many a year. Sitting by the roadside outside the Finca is an elderly gentleman and his dog – a bronze sculpture – with a further statue in the grounds.
Facilities at the Finca include a small indoor heated pool; a massage room, gymnasium, a meditation room, and a launderette. The small lounge area gives the appearance of being the original finca but with the inclusion of a pool table. The furniture and fittings throughout are of the rustic type in keeping with the buildings. The kitchens are fitted with all appliances: microwaves, cookers, kettle, even an electric juicer.
For those wishing to integrate into the local life there are weekly Spanish lessons.
The Finca seems to be the only accommodation in the town for visitors. Thus a sprinkling of Spanish is useful in the bars and shops. However, most bartenders and check-out staff have a sprinkling of English.
Being about 1500 metres up from the coast means the temperature can be colder than the coastal resorts – disadvantage in winter, but probably an advantage in the summer.
For information on the Finca log on to www.finca-vistabonita.com. If you did prefer Los Cristianos, there is a sister establishment www.aparthotelneptuno.com/portada.htm - more modern style.

If you want a quiet, peaceful break away from it all I would suggest staying here. The views are lovely and as it faced south, we caught sunrise and sunset from the large balcony. The people running it are helpful but beware, not many speak any English. The kitchen area is adequate but small and it is very basically equipped. large fridge, microwave, hob but no oven. Be warned that it is cooler here than down on the coastal fringe but a small convection heater is provided for the chillier times. You definitely need transport unless you are a very keen walker/cyclist and love steep hills. The local small supermarket in San Miguel is well stocked. There is also a really nice restaurant/bar immediately opposite the Finca.
Wifi was available in the public area where there is a spa/wellness area.
Places to visit should definitely include the fabulous Teide National Park and some of the smaller villages down on the coast. We visited the north-west area in order to see the rock formations. Don't go on a bank holiday. the viewpoints were so busy that we were unable to stop at most places. The roads were exceptionally narrow and full of hairpin bends too!
We both really enjoyed our off-peak visit here but don't expect night-clubs or anything other than basic accommodation.

The lodge itself has a really beautiful view!
We just wish that we didn’t have to run into those issues.

Thursday morning we did NOT even have cold water. No water at all. They couldn’t fix it that day due to holiday. We understand.
Then they downgraded us to a small apartment two floors lower, where the view cannot even compare.
When such inconvenience happens, most hotels will compensate the customers with better rooms; here they downgraded us and told us that we were supposed to be in one of those apartments. That is just not right.

We only had one night left before flying out. Packing and unpacking waste a lot of time. They have both apartments available, so we asked perhaps we could just sleep at the original apartment and use the other one for shower. It’s only one night anyways, but they did not want to convenient us; they said that they had rented out our original apartment already, (yet the water was still not available). We had to pack and unpack and pack again within 24 hours.

Now you can imagine how we feel about Tenerife and Spanish.

There were other things that we just put up with. Overall it is not that clean; the towels didn’t spell fresh; pillow cases were stained; cups had egg shell in them; not enough hot water to take comfortable shower. We are seasonal travelers, so we put up with these, but things just got worse.
