Always smiling and willing to help reception and cleaning staff. If you book via hotel website, you get a bottle of prosseco as a welcome gift. Spacious bathroom, good quality toiletries (Rituals), nice location not far away from the beach promenade and the town centre. Dark room/not enough sun light, not sound proof, dangerously steep stairs, irrationally expensive breakfast. Avoid... More

We had the Superb room (room 35) and it was very, very good. Spotlessly clean, great bed and plenty of room to relax. Everything is in walking distance, and the beach is only 1 minute away. The free parking was a godsend since parking is sparse in Domburg. Big and beautiful bathroom too. Very helpful and friendly staff, our stay... More

Precisely in the middle of Domburg, but against the dunes! less than 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and 30 seconds and you are on the beach. With the right room you can even see the sea from your balcony! The team is knowledgeable and respond without hesitation and are giving good tips for where to go, not... More

This was a very nice getaway weekend for my wife and I. We selected the Comfort Plus room and found it to be very accommodating. Located about 100 meters from the beach, the location was very sutable for us. A little more than a 5 minute walk and we found ourselves direct in village centre. The hotel also provides protected... The name Strand hotel which means Beach is misleading as the hotel is situated behind the dunes and only from the most expensive rooms there might be a glimpse of the sea. The rooms are clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast really nice. Missed coffee making facility in room and perhaps notepad and pen. That would have been better than a... More

This hotel is clean, friendly and well-located. We stayed in one of the rooms in a separate building down the street. Our 'family room' was on the second floor and had a very spacious room with twin beds, a landing with a fridge, a nice room with a queen sized-bed, a beautiful and large bathroom with tub and a terrace.... Perfect location right behind the dunes. Just 100 m walk to the beach. Very spacious and comfortable rooms, decorated in 'beach style' , white, blue and wood. Small but modern bathroom with great shower. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very helpful, happy and friendly staff. Off the main street but very close to the center of Domburg. Altogether a lovely place to... More

This is about as close as you can get to the beach without actually being on it. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed for 4 nights and had such a nice relaxing break. It's not on the main street so it's quiet and all you hear at night are the waves on the beach about 60 metres... More

Have stayed in this hotel twice and it's been great both times. The rooms on the top floor are large and have balconies, comfy beds, minibar and large showers although the bathrooms are on the small side and the furniture is a bit minimalist. Breakfast is typical continental and served in an art gallery. The hotel doen't have a bar... More

We stayed in the hotels apartment for 2 nights, and had a superb weekend! The hotel is located 50m from the beach, right at the dunes and close to the centre of the village! The apartment is amazing; large, very clean, fireplace, great kitchen and bathroom with all you can dream of. The hotel has a large terrace, for hotel... More
