The Artist's Loft Guest House offers beautifully appointed en-suite rooms in the heart of Porthleven village, south west Cornwall. All rooms have en-suite shower facilities, TV, free Wifi, mini fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and a communal outside terrace. There is no breakfast served in the property and guests can have breakfast at their leisure at a select number of cafe's in the village. The rooms are located close to the harbour and we offer free parking in our dedicated car park, just 2 minutes from the Artist Loft. Please note that there are no owners on site. The property is managed by Porthleven Holiday Cottages. Guests will receive a key code to allow them to access their key and enter their room.

The Artists Loft is very well situated in Porthleven, literally a minute's walk from the harbour. Only a short walk from the restaurants and shops. The room was immaculately clean and the beds very comfortable. I would recommend.

We were very impressed with the accommodation in the Saltcellar. The room and ensuite were immaculate. The decor in the halls and rooms were very tasteful. The bedlinen was good quality, the bed was comfortable and the position was quiet. My brother and sister in law were in a nearby room which was equally as good. I would definitely recommend and book again.

This is a lovely little development in a great location. Beds really comfortable; nice bathroom, great shower, little fridge with milk provided . We bought croissants from the supermarket round the corner for breakfast

We stayed at The Artist Loft for two night. It is just a stroll from the harbour. Fresh, clean and beautifully appointed accommodation with a mini fridge with fresh milk provided, such a lovely touch. Very comfortable bed too.

My wife and myself stayed for one night now wished I should have stopped longer. Found the key system easy to use and the Room was very pleasant and spotlessly clean with drinks tray and a small fridge with fresh milk unheard of before. A car pass gives access to private parking space . Had breakfast at Nauti But Ice overlooking harbour what a delight.

Stayed at the end of June for 2 nights. Right in the centre, on the doorstep of harbour and all cafes, shops and restaurants. Love the fact you have your own access and great touch to have a fridge in your room and a communal, pleasant outdoor space.. We located the free parking 2 minutes walk away very easily. We stayed in the Saltcellar which was an OK size with a very large modern, clean shower room. Whilst we were there it was very quiet so no problems sleeping. Porth Leven is a great little place with a good choice of cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs plus a long beach. Would definitely recommend.

I love Porthleven. In previous years, I have stayed at the Harbour Inn which, although very nice, I felt was a bit expensive. This time I stayed in the Loe Bar Room in the Artist Loft. There are no staff there so it's a bit like a hotel but you have your breakfast somewhere else. No problem. The room was superb. The decoration and bedding was crisp and sylish. The ensuite was huge. Good shower. There was also a handy fridge in the room which contained a bottle of fresh milk rather than the small UHT cartons one normally finds in a room. I purchased a breakfast voucher in advance for £7.50 which could be redeemed at one of four local cafes. I probably wouldn't bother doing that next time personally. I would just pay cash instead for that element of the stay. I would certainly stay here again.…

I stayed here with my brother as part of a walking tour around the South West Coast. Whilst beautifully appointed the room was very small for two people plus two suitcases. Additionally there were three internet options none of which worked. We ended up using the internet from the local pub which was a work around of sorts. Breakfast voucher for 7.50 pounds was also short of the mark for a full breakfast that we needed for a 6 Hour walk each day

We stayed in the Loe Bar Room for one night while walking the south coast path. Keys are left in a key safe and instructions about property are clear, we'd also received a detailed email about entering property etc. Property is 2 minutes walk from the harbour and its many restaurants. Room was bright, clean with modern decor. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and bright. Coffee and tea are provided (with plenty of milk in the fridge, great touch) and lovely biscuits. Only slight downside is that there isn't much ventilation to the room so it was quite hot at night - a cooling fan is provided. We had breakfast at the Twist Currant Cafe which was excellent (we didn't get breakfast vouchers as we only have small breakfasts) - we could have stayed in there all day earwigging the locals! I wished we'd stayed 2 nights and we'd definitely go again.…

We found the check-in process smooth, you don’t interact with any staff but instructions are clear and easy to follow. Allocated parking is a short walk away and very central to the harbour as is the property itself. Beautifully decorated rooms, with nice bathrooms, a bit small for 2 people but we didn’t spend too much time in there anyway. Very convenient location just off of the harbour, we had a nice view out of the widow down the street to the water which was lovely. A great place to stay in Porthleven.
