Absolutely amazing is the only way to describe Blakey Hall B&B. Rachel and Stephen are the perfect hosts and will do anything to help during your stay. The room we stayed in is lush and they also offer self catering apartments which are fabulous also. Set by the Leeds Liverpool canal there is so much to do for people of all ages in the area from watching sporting events to amazing walks. Rachel's full Lancashire breakfast will set you up for the day too. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay. 12 of us + 1 dog stayed for the weekend to celebrate my Mums 80th birthday. We couldn't have asked for more, lovely surroundings, tastefully decorated and lovely people who couldn't have done any more to make our weekend wonderful and special. We will be back!

I have stayed at Blakey Hall Farm twice now, and both visits have been wonderfully relaxing. I recently stayed there with my family for my wedding at Pendle Heritage Centre. The owner, Rachel, made the whole family feel completely welcome, and went out of her way to help us out with any queries. This really helped the wedding weekend to go smoothly and without any hiccups. The honeymoon suite is also ideal for getting ready with bridesmaids, family, etc. The rooms are really clean and well presented, and the whole farm is really cosy. Blakey Hall is located next to the canal, so great for walking, and it a really short drive from Barrowford. Despite all of this, my favourite part of staying at Blakey Hall is the amazing breakfast. I really can't recommend it enough!

I recently stayed here for three nights when I got married and it was absolutely excellent. The bedroom was beautiful and spacious, and the farmhouse itself is next to the canal, so you can go for lovely countryside walks. Rachel, the owner, is very friendly and helpful and puts on an excellent breakfast - either cooked or fruits/cereals etc., which she serves guests in her beautiful living room. As it was raining on my wedding day she was even nice enough to let me and my bridesmaids have some photos taken in her living room as we couldn't go outside! We all had a fantastic experience there and I would highly recommend it.

I can’t say enough about the experience at Blakey Hall Farm. I first went there in 2013 when I traveled from the States to visit relatives in the north of England. I was looking for a genuine English B&B experience – complete with full breakfast, real farmhouse, and beautiful scenery. Blakey Hall Farm did not disappoint! I have been back twice since – drawn by the beautiful rooms, wonderful innkeeper (Rachel) and marvelous breakfasts. Catch this – I once threw a load of laundry in the washer before departing on a day trip and, upon return, found it dried, folded and in my room! What wonderful treatment…I may never leave!! And if you like dogs you will be greeted by Teddy, the most hospitable of the bunch. Enjoy your stay.
