Communication was fantastic - email straight after booking giving exact location as well as top tips on where to book to eat.
Ample parking at the property
Met with coffee, home made cake and great conversation.
Breakfast comprised buffet of cereals, yoghurt and a bowl of fresh fruit followed by a wide choice of hot food (full English was excellent)
Our room (Thornton) was spacious, with ample storage space and a well appointed bathroom with complimentary toiletries.
Coffee / tea making facilities in our room had a wide range of choices - with jugs of fresh milk available from the guest fridge in the dining room.
I really can’t praise Sue and Steve highly enough for how they run this B&B.
We would return without a moment’s hesitation

Looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights in the area to tackle the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge for charity, this lovely little B&B caught my attention online.
From the moment when I first arrived, to when it was time for me to head back home, Sue & Steve were amazing with their care, hospitality and overall kindness to me.
I was greeted with a lovely welcome, with tea and cake ready for me on arrival before being shown to my room. Everything was explained to me clearly about how the B&B worked with breakfast etc.
The single 'The Doe Room' I had was lovely and cosy. Everything I needed for a weekend away hiking and exploring the area.
I needed to be up super early (before 6) for the hiking challenge and Sue & Steve were excellent in putting aside a seperate breakfast selection for me (this included toast, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, milk etc). This was great and exactly what I needed.
The full breakfast on my last morning of the stay (where I wasn't to be up super early), was amazing - in addition to the above, I had a cooked full English breakfast made for me which was delicious and cooked to perfection.
There was also fresh milk in the lounge fridge I was welcomed to help myself to, with a selection of tea and coffees and a kettle in my own room along with a fresh towel, shower soap/wash etc.
Sue & Steve regularly checked in with me whenever I saw them to make sure I was okay etc. I just felt so at home the entire time.
Ready for leaving and the journey back home, also included was a packed lunch Sue provided for me to set me off on my way. This included sandwiches, a snack bar, cake, fruit and water.
Thank you to Sue & Steve for an amazing stay - a B&B I'll be sure to keep in mind for whenever I visit this area again. It was perfect - and I'd recommend this B&B to anyone. Choose to stay here and you will not be disappointed in the slightest.

If you want a B&B that feels like home from home Harling House is the place to be,everything you can hope for and more. Sue & Steve are perfect hosts and make you feel welcome and Sue's amazing homemade cakes and a welcoming cup of tea on arrival was a wonderful gesture. Sue & Steve keep very high standards and everything is spotless and decorated and furnished to a superior finish. The location of Harling House is perfect, lots of bars and restaurants in the village, Masons Arms being the closest, 5/10 mins away, there are more within walking distance or a short drive away. The waterfalls and caves are not far away, So many places to visit for e.g. Clapham, Kirby Lonsdale,Morecambe, Settle, Hawes and Ribblehead viaduct to name but a few.

We recently stayed at Harling House and really enjoyed our visit. The room and house were spotless, the breakfast was great with a large variety to choose from, and the owners did everything they could to make our stay memorable. This even extended to our getting a mobile call while we were out at 15.00 hrs, telling me when a steam train would be crossing Dent Head Viaduct so that I could take a photo. We will be going back as it really felt like a home away from home. Give this lovely place a try , you will not be disappointed.

Second time we stayed here and again it didn't disappoint. Sue & Steve welcomed us with tea & cake and gave us recommendations on good places to eat. The room was spotless and very cosy, a very comfy bed with big soft pillows. Breakfast was delicious, with a good choice of yogurts and cereals ,and cooked choices. The location is perfect too, a 15 minute walk to the centre of ingleton where you can enjoy food and drink and various walks. Throughly enjoyed my stay here, perfect hosts. Definitely be back.

Sue and Steve are the BEST hosts that you could possibly ask for!! We were made to feel instantly welcome with a lovely pot of tea for two and some incredible cake (the cake continued on a daily basis which was delicious!). We loved the little lounge area where we played games (we brought our own but there was scrabble, cluedo etc that you could borrow!) and a whole host of tourist books and leaflets. Sue and Steve also provided us great recommendations of things to do in the area and always seemed genuinely interested in what we got up to. The breakfasts in the morning were great (loved the eco friendly ‘wipe clean’ daily order menu idea!). The room was beautifully clean with lovely tea and coffee, and a daily supply of fresh milk that you could collect in cute little jugs from the local pottery shop. :) Sue and Steve went above and beyond to help us out during our stay, always helping us out. Massive massive thank you to both of them. I would recommend this beautiful place in a gorgeous location to anyone!!

We wanted to do the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and White Scar Cave so needed somewhere close by. Harling House appeared to be a good choice so booked direct via online booking system. definitely a good choice, we arrived around 3.15pm Sunday and after a warm greeting, cuppa and homemade cake our room ( Thornton ) was ready. Spacious, warm, clean and huge comfy bed. Good first impressions. After a sound sleep that night, we chose an 8.30am full English breakfast. After a bowl of delicious fresh fruit and fresh orange juice we tucked into a hearty well cooked breakfast. Thankyou chef Steve. There were cereals and other lighter options. We were out all day enjoying the area. Back around 4 , relax and then out again for tea. Every day we were treated to a slice of home made cake. A deliciously cooked breakfast and good information on other places to visit while we were there. We made a special request via the online booking form for sunshine during our three day stay. Even that was granted. Sue and Steve are fabulous hosts. We were at the front of the building and were never really bothered by any noise from the passing traffic. Great stay in a gorgeous area with lots of lovely nature to see and good eating out places very nearby. Cheers.

This was our third successive year at Harling House and each time has been excellent. Sue and Steve are the perfect hosts - professional, meticulous, friendly and helpful. The presentation, choice and facilities in the breakfast room are second to none. And, that breakfast! Bacon, sausage, mushrooms, eggs etc. all locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Summer fruits and yoghurt also great. Complementary home-made cake is provided each afternoon. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Although the house is on a main road you don’t hear much traffic noise due to the ventilation system. The location is great, if just a little walk from the main part of the town, and there is plenty of parking space. Overall, first class.

I highly recommend the Harling House. Our room was very comfortable and with plenty of space. The breakfast served each day was excellent. And, coming back in the afternoon to cake was quite nice! We even had homemade apple juice in the morning. There is also a room on the main floor in which you can relax if you wish. The hosts are helpful if you have questions on dining or tourism. The location is excellent. You can walk into town. We ate at a couple of spots in town and were very pleased with the quality of the food. Very pleasant hosts.

Thank you Amanda for your enquiry. We have a 2-night minimum stay, so are not sure whether you'd require 20th/21st or 21st/22nd, but our single room (for children over age 11) upstairs and our downstairs double room are available. We are about just under 5 mins walk from Pinecroft. There's more details about what we provide, room facilities and terms etc, on our website, so we hope this helps. harlinghouse co uk

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. We're only a small B&B with room (bedroom and dining) set ups that unfortunately don't allow us to accommodate children under 11. All of our terms can be found on our website. We find that many of our guests book with us because they know that there will not be young children or pets on the premises.
