Detailed Reviews
We've stayed here a couple of times now and it's been great both times. The location is brilliant - only a short walk into Ingleton and the waterfalls walk. There are plenty of pubs and shops nearby too.
The campsite is really well run, with nice clean facilities, including a play area which the kids love, and a dog walk round the back of the field. There are pods available (although we were in a tent) and these looked nice too.
Prices are really reasonable, it costing us £26 a night for two adults and two children in the summer hols. That's not including electric hook up, but that's available too. Showers are free which makes a nice change to some other sites. The payment system worked well, although it might be useful to have an online booking system, as it took them a while to respond to my booking enquiry. That could be a lot to do with the pandemic though, and they were much quicker the year before.
It's only £2.50 to hire a fire pit for the night, and you can also buy wood and kindling too at a reasonable price. We didn't buy anything from the shop but they had other necessities available.
The owners are lovely and really welcoming. They have also taken the situation with COVID very seriously, with one way systems and a limit on people in the toilets/showers. The only thing to near in mind is that the freezer is out of action due to the Coronavirus restrictions, so you can't refreeze your icepacks!
On the whole I would highly recommend the site, especially if you're a family. It's a place we'll definitely be coming back to in the future.

A wonderful well kept site, we went with our son, daughter in law and three grandchildren aged 6, 3 and 20 months, we took our caravan and they had a tent, which the owner sited just over the edge from us and the children were able to come and go between the two.
Nothing was to much trouble for the owner, he worked all day even filling the toilets up with toilet roll at 10.30pm.
They grass was kept nice and short out little granddaughter loved the fairy glade and each of them did a fairy slate.
We loved it so much we stayed an extra night us in the caravan and my son had a pod for the extra night, with fire pit, marshmallows and magic dust on the fire, the children loved this and the price was very reasonable.
We will be back next year

Booked 2 nights in a camper van. Problems with camper meant we could only come for the second night.
Great location with Ingleton a short walk, enjoyed ourselves so much we asked if we could book for another night. Owners very accommodating, got a new pitch with amazing view of Ingleborough.
When we left we could have been charged for 3 nights but owners only charged for 2 as we missed first night- much appreciated!
Amazing campsite with everything you need. Clean toilets, electric hookup and water taps for campers, fire packs breakfast packs etc. Dog friendly with little dog run.
Will be returning, thank you!

Perfect for families with all tents/pods able to face towards play area. Staff maintain and disinfect communal area regularly through the day and have gone to great lengths to encourage social distancing at the toilet block. Caves, waterfalls, country walks and pub nearby.

We spent 15 nights here in July / August after we arrived, had 3 days on site then had to go home after a Covid contact...and then we came back again! Through all of this Dave the owner was incredibly helpful and it ended up being one of the best holidays we have had.
The location is great - just off the A65 and only a 10 minute walk into Ingleton which is a lovely place with a small Co-op, lots of independent shops and a superb outdoor swimming pool. The Ingleton Waterfalls trail is also well worth the admission. We didn't eat out in Ingleton but we did have pizza from the restaurant next to the Co-op and it was superb. The Masterton ARms pub is just a 3 minute walk from the campsite and the food there is outstanding. All freshly cooked (so a limited menu) but it is really top quality cooking.
The campsite itself is well set out (play area in the middle) and the pitches are a good size with lovely views from most across the hills. The facilities were kept immaculately clean and the showers had plenty of hot water all the time.
The owners are really helpful with local knowledge and campfires are allowed (in firepits off the ground) with excellent wood. When the night is clear the dark skies designation means that the view of stars are incredible.
Overall a superb site for familiies of all ages. Highly recommended.

This is a well run site for 5 caravans or motor homes and quite a few tents. There are also a number of Glamping pods. There is a play area for children in clear view of all pitches. Pitch sizes are generous and they are well maintained with fully serviced for vans. All the facilities are very good and clean. The owners are very obliging and friendly. The site is ideally placed for the 3 Yorkshire Peaks and many other attractions.

The campsite is in a fantastic location to Ingleton and only a short walk from the pub which does lovely meals.
The toilets were extremely clean and were cleaned regularly. The showers were nice and hot too.
They had an area for washing up and a fridge and microwave if you needed to store anything which is good for those camping in tents.
The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough. As we came at a quiet time, it was suggested that I park on the gravel and pitch the tent next to it as the owner didn’t want the car getting stuck. He also said we could use the picnic bench in front of the pod next door to save us having to sit on the grass which I thought was nice of him to offer.
The views are incredible and it was lovely to sit out with a morning coffee and appreciate this lovely location.
I thought the camping was very reasonably priced and good value for money.
We had a lovely stay and will possibly return in summer when the weather is better.
The pods also looked lovely and cosy!
Thank you for a great trip!

We stayed in pod 8. The best pod in my opinion. Had 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The weather was mixed but we made the most of it sitting on our little decking area with shelter.
The campsite is spotless and toilet/ shower areas constantly cleaned.
Dave is on hand to answer questions about the area and sire .
The view is amazing and the pub a 1 min walk.
Dog friendly
Ingleton a short walk away and would recommend the water falls trail.

Just come back from a great weekend glamping. This is a perfect site especially for families. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. The glamping pod was clean and to a high standard... as usual. We have been several times and just love the area and what it has to offer. Excellent shower and wash facilities. They have put a lot of thought and attention to detail in making this site safe and friendly during covid 19. There is a play area for children, lots of space... and the children love roasting marsh mallows by the campfire. If you want a great campsite and fun time.. look no further... perfect location, amazing views Thank you for helping make happy memories for our children. X

Can not fault this campsite at all. It was perfect. Dave the owner was very attentive before and during our stay nothing was a trouble. He was all ways around if needed he directed us to places to visit and made our stay. The campsite is quiet and spacious they don’t over fill it so you can take in all the scenery and there’s a lot to see. Toilets were clean only one shower but next block has 3 unisex which isn’t a problem at all. Pot wash very clean fridge and microwave if needed. It has everything you could need. Even good pack can be ordered which is a lovely touch and would recommend the experience pack. There’s a small shop which we didn’t use but looked to have a good range. Best we’ve stayed at this year!
