Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very friendly and welcoming, especially kind to our dog, which made us feel at home. Room spotless, breakfast lovely, would highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in the Wells area. The owners are happy to book restaurants and help in any way they can.

What a lovely little find this was! Great location, close to many main visitor attractions such as Wells, Wookey and Glastonbury. A Family run B&B, quirky old building and dog friendly too which was a bonus for us and our two dogs. Breakfast was just brilliant and the best salmon and scrambled eggs I have ever had! Would happily recommend this B&B to anyone

I booked this for a Christmas shopping trip for myself and my mum. On arrival we were greeted by Sarah who was super friendly and shows us to our room. Lovely room on the first floor with single beds. We had booked dinner at the hotel for 6pm. Sarah was very accommodating as I am vegetarian and had prepared a lovely meal, all home made with was delicious. Again desserts were amazing with a choice of lemon tart or pavlova. Couldn’t fault the dinner at all. We stayed for two nights, breakfast on both mornings was perfect, lovely and hot and not too much which we liked. The hotel was positioned perfectly for us as we visited both Wells and Clark’s Village. All in all nothing to moan about and would not hesitate in coming back. Thank you Sarah 😊

What a find. We had a wonderful relaxing stay here where the owner and colleagues could not have been more helpful. The room was large and comfortable and the location quiet and peaceful. A good position to travel to places of interest (Glastonbury is a must!) and just to let the pace of life slow down and relax. Could not recommend it more highly - just fabulous

I recently stayed here, I was extremely happy with the customer service and the owners. They were very accommodating to me having a bike and went out their way to help me. Very clean room, well set out with all the equipment you would need. Also a lovey view with a great breakfast and garden. Very good, would recommend to anyone!
