Stopped for a pint as were on our summer wine self made tour. Lovely pub in the centre. The landlord is really nice giving us tips on where to drop off. Quirky place. Worth a stop for sure! Nice views over the valley. You can order a coffee and walk in and look over the views of cleggs house or the pub which starred in the show.

Moved into the area recently and we are trying our local places for food and drinks. The Red Lion is up there with the best so far. Fresh home cooked food, good beer and friendly staff. Will definitely be back soon. Only a mile from home, what’s not to like. Also worth travelling to if you are farther away than us.

We visited the Red Lion Inn for lunch and a pint after a long walk yesterday. All staff were amazing, we were a group of 6 adults, a baby and a large dog and we felt so welcomed and accommodated. We all agreed that all the meals tasted so fresh, delicious and excellent quality. It was also so great to see a variety of vegetarian options on the menu. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Excellent Steak tonight and really good value, if you're looking for an alternative to a Sunday roast then would highly recommend. The deserts aren't half bad either, think we will be visiting again. 😀
