Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were greeted by Patrick and Margaret and immediately we felt at home: they both were very knowledgeable about the area and after our splendid breakfasts we were able to further explore Northern Ireland. The B & B was very spacious, bedrooms and beds very comfortable, very clean, extremely warm with a very relaxing sitting room in which to rest after our travels. All in all a magnificent stay with such wonderful hosts.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and en suite shower room. First class breakfast with home made wheaten bread. Filtered water and kettle, tea, coffee, offer of fresh milk in the room. A warm welcome and very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful hostess. Good value.
Would definitely go back.

Stayed here for 1 night as part of little Irish tour and we wished we stayed longer. The lovely Margaret was delightful from the outset, the moved us into the private en-suite room for no extra charge as it was available. She was really friendly and genuine which is always a bonus.
The room was immaculate, so fresh and clean. The bed was by far the best we had in Ireland and probably one of the comfiest I've slept in. The area surrounding Dewhamill is quiet countryside, we didn't have time to do much exploring but we did find a lovely restaurant called The Elk Complex, about a 10 minute drive away.
The cooked breakfast was delicious and Margaret was the perfect host.
Really can't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Our family stayed at Annagh for a week and it was an exceptional experience from booking through every day of our stay. It was spotlessly clean, and very quiet. It had modern appliances, furniture and all the amenities a family would need to self-cater their vacation. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the bathrooms pristine, and the living and dining room very spacious. Set at the end of a long winding lane, beside a farm and Church Island, the cottage is easy to find and just minutes drive to Bellaghy and the Seamus Heaney HomePlace. Our host was warm, friendly and helpful and very responsive to our questions. We have no hesitation in recommending a stay here and will certainly be repeat visitors.

Superlative is not an adequate description. We arrived in icy conditions Paddy drove the car up the hill and dinner was produced. A lovely lounge and chat and into the fabulous bedroom. Nothing was forgotten. A true home from home. A haven. Margaret and Paddy are friendly and professional hosts and of course the breakfast was perfect. Don't forget to ask for Margaret's homemade soda bread

We stayed for 4 nights and the location was perfect to use as a central base for our visit to Northern Ireland. The room was spotless with its own private entrance. Margaret was very informative with many suggestions of places to see. She is very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her.

A perfect B&B. Private entrance to our room, view of the Lough, absolutely spotless. Margaret was so nice and breakfast was excellent. The house is down a narrow lane but it's like being at the end of the world when you get there. So peaceful. Highly recommend.

Of all the B&Bs we booked on our 2 week trip to Ireland, Dewhamill was the nicest. The room was very spacious, the bed was a good size and everything was sparkling clean! The hosts Margret and Patrick were very friendly and helpful. It was always a lot of fun chatting with them and getting tips from them. Everything was taken care of. Margret gave us homemade scones for breakfast and Patrick gave us flowers from his garden when we left. We will definitely be back!

Just stayed in Dewhamill last night with me husband and daughter after attending a wedding in Ballyscullion. This is an excellent b&b, meticulously clean, very comfortable rooms and beds. Beautiful breakfast the next morning. The host and proprietor Margaret is excellent, very welcoming, attentive and very friendly. Location is beautiful and so peaceful, had a great night’s sleep!
