Nice park but I remain very disappointed with their wi-fi service for which they charge 3.99 per day. So if your a solo traveller go somewhere that has decent wifi or make sure you have a book with you. I also had a cold shower at 9am - poor

We went camping here with our five year old, she loved it, lots of kids to play with at the two play parks, lots to lovely woodland walks and a narrow gauge train to the local village of Alford. The site was clean and well kept. We had good weather but if it rains there's an indoor soft play centre...

We booked and arrived on the same day (Friday) However, we arrived after 9pm (traffic problems) but the person on the phone had given us the shower block code on the phone. The office is open 9-5pm. There was no answer to the mobile number on the door so we went straight to the touring pitches. The park is lovely...

We arrived here on Friday night for May bank holiday weekend. Last time I had been was 21 years ago !!! Very warm and friendly welcome from the wardens which is always a great start. Suggested pitches in the wooded area are larger and preferred by caravanners. We drove round and there were ample pitches as site was fairly empty,...

Stayed here this weekend, toilets and showers are clean but a bit dated. We tend to use our caravan shower. Pitches are big with plenty room for full size awning and car. Will definitely be back nearer the end of the year

After the unfortunate events leading up to summer we decided to head back for the October break. On arrival we were greeted by Deborah and Paul the new wardens on site. We had a lovely time and the weather was amazing for October. We did have one night of very high winds which did cause some damage around the park...

Our last trip of the season and we could not have picked a nicer place to visit in the Autumn. The trees and shrubs were lovely and the river nearby. A very cheery welcome from the warden, and booking in was quick and easy. The one way traffic system made coming and going very easy and just a short distance from Alford....

We stayed for two nights in September. The site was very quiet. Lots of lovely mature trees and grassy glades. There were children and dogs around, but the site is so big that it just soaked them up. There is a lovely children's playground set away from the camping pitches, in among the trees. We had a lovely friendly reception...

We camped here with our 2 kids and friends with their 2 kids. We pitched up in the walled garden which was a lovely area, very close to toilet/shower block! A tap is provided within this area too for fresh water. Park right next to our area which was great for kids and plenty to do within haughton park too...

We spent 3 nights camping at Haughton in August 2014. The site is well laid out and very clean. There is a lovely play park for the children. We booked by phone and check in was very simple. We had a large tent with awning and electrical hook up. Our pitch was outside the walled garden (non electric) but was...
