David - Masterchef of Great Britain along with brother-in-law Nigel, owner manage this fabulous destination. Location superb for fishing, walking, whisky and castle trails all on your doorstep! I would rather sit in front of the roaring fire making a nuisance of myself stopping Nigel from working! Dinner is not so much a meal but an experience, David is a...

We have just retuned from our second stay at this smashing wee Inn. We loved it so much the first time we just had to go back so we spent three nights as an Anniversary treat, and loved it again. Ok the rooms are not huge but it is an Inn after all. The quality of the food was only...

Excellent food, varied menu, super quality. Great rooms, very clean and pleasant. Wonderful hospitality, made to feel incredibly welcome and nothing too much trouble from organising fly fishing to recommending distillery and walks! Nigel and David make a phenomenal team! Highly recommend the Inn for any occasion. I

Our friends recommended we meet for dinner at the Inn rather than the Castle/ house. From the car park it's rather uninspiring but once thru the door it's warm and convivial. Great hospitality from front of house staff. The food was very good as was the atmosphere, even tho we ate at 1815. I'm now committed to book a table...

4 of us had an excellent meal last night. Service and surroundings could not be faulted from the moment we entered the cosy lounge. It is always good to support local businesses. Would thoroughly recommend and we will definitely return. Thank you.

Small faimily run rural hotel in the heart of Aberdeenshire and right on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park. The Inn is in a truly beautiful location and very well run with an absolutely fabulous menu cooked by an international quality chef. The building is traditional Scottish cottage style - extended to a pub and hotel and even had...

Sunday Lunch for my family. What a treat, the owners are very experienced in hospitality ,enquiring what kind of gin in your aperitif ? lemon or cucumber? Nothing too much trouble. Excellent food, beautifully presented, dry sense of humour on the side! All in all a fabulous occasion in a rare location. Will deffinately return for what can only be described as an...

We chose to stay here because we were meeting old friends, who we hadn't seen in a very long time, for dinner. First impressions were very good with the owner coming out to greet us and show us our room. The room was small but furnished with style. The bar area is very cosy with big, leather seats and there...

We've dined here twice in the last 6 months and both times have been excellent. Once in February when we were the only 2 people there (it was a Monday night!) And again on a busy Saturday evening in July. It's starts with a warm welcome from Nigel, front of house. Then you can sit in the lovely bar area...
