Friendly welcome from Lorna into their wonderful home, in which we had the front ensuite bedroom overlooking the Loch. Well appointed with quality bedding and towels. Good choice breakfast, served in dining room also overlooking the Loch with fresh produce perfectly prepared. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 5 nights in early August and we seem to have a knack for finding top class b&b accommodation. The Sithean (pronounced She-an) is a lovely house in a scenic area and is very clean and tidy and well furnished. There are two guest bedrooms both of a high standard, one overlooking the rear garden and hills beyond and the other overlooking the loch. Lorna serves an excellent breakfast with a good choice to select from. There is a guest lounge which is well furnished and again overlooking the loch. Lochcarron and the surrounding area has a few good eating places, a well stocked shop and three places for petrol one of which also has a well stocked shop. Places to visit are plentiful with Skye bridge 20-30 minutes drive, Plockton is near at hand and Attadale Gardens is worth a visit. One of the highlights is the drive to Applecross over the Bealach Na Ba, Pass of the Cattle, but don’t expect to be putting the foot down, take your time and keep your eyes on the road. You’ll understand why if you go there. All in all an area worth visiting with The Sithean worth staying at.…

We have just spent a lovely night here whilst ticking off more Munros in the local area. We received a warm welcome, our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. In the morning we were treated to an incredible breakfast - quite simply the best Eggs Royale we have ever had! A 10/10 stay for sure and we will be back.

Critical of us from the moment we arrived, for no apparent reason. The least welcoming host of all the B&Bs and hotels we stayed in during our visit to Scotland. Though the room was pleasant and comfortable, we couldn't wait to leave.

We stayed for one night with Lorna and Ken in their family home B&B on the shores of Lochcarron. The room and indeed the whole house appeared recently refurbished to a high standard and both were warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. A comfortable lounge overlooks the loch with rooms overlooking either the loch or the wonderful gardens surrounding the house. Our room was large with built in clothes storage and a very comfortable bed. The en suite wc and shower and the bed room itself was fitted out to a high standard. A fridge in the bedroom (silent operation!) was useful in the hot weather. Breakfast was really good with fruit, cereal, porridge and numerous cooked options - for vegetarians or meat eaters. Lorna was helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure to stay at the Sithean. All in all, this is exactly what a traditional Scottish Bed and Breakfast should be. Highly recommended.…

From the entrance to the house is pretty stunning with their garden looking pristine. The front and rear gardens are pretty damn perfect. A Huge saltire flying majestically over the house. love it!. We were welcomed by Ken and his wife, who were very nice and pleasant and made us feel welcome. We were shown to our room, which was facing the loch. (I thought I had died and gone to heaven. no exaggeration) Room was large enough, very clean, with plenty of storage for our clothes.. Shower and toilet room was amazing. We were offered something to eat on arrival also. We were given the wifi password on arrival and it was a very good connection. We were shown into the spacious lounge area, which had an array of Scottish history, Sightseeing, Munro infos etc. Absolutely perfect, first class choice. The view across LochCarron was magnificent. I took a picture from the bedroom and everyone on my facebook thought it was a painting on the wall. Bed was clean, comfy and good pillows. Next morning we went for breakfast. There was your usual, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, juices etc. We were offered Porridge, which I took and it was fantastic. I had eggs benedict as had my wife. Perfect! We were given toast and also had a full cooked breakfast. Tea and coffee also. We were asked if we wanted any more to eat as Kens wife didn't think we had ate much. OMG! I couldn't eat any more. £80 for two for a night B&B. best money I have ever spent. …

Stayed for one night at the beautiful Sithean and it was wonderful. We were given the choice of a garden or sea view and opted for the sea and what a view it was! Bedroom with ensuite was roomy and very comfortable. Host went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, that included breakfast the next morning- again it was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay here:)
