Location and views are nearly as amazing as Fiona and Roy our hosts.
Myself my son and good friend travelled from Ireland for the Celtman extreme triathlon and stayed for 4 nights and we couldn’t fault anything. We were made feel at home from the first greeting.
Now it is a 9 km drive along a small country lane from the small town of Lochcarron which has. Some small shops cafes and hotel with a bar but the likely hood is you’ll be distracted by deer and birds of prey and glimpses of the Lough between the trees then the road opens and your there. The house sits on a large garden with unhindered views across the Lough and a risen deck area to the rear which we made use of one of the afternoons to relax have a beer and just watch the wildlife on the Lough using Roy’s telescope. The rooms are comfortable warm and have a tv which didn’t see use and the beds are very comfortable, normally I’d struggle in any other bed bar my own but had no issues falling asleep here. It was raining the first evening so we asked if it was ok to have a quite beer together in the twin room and this was not a problem to Roy or Fiona they even took some beers and put them in the fridge for us,now we were quite and we weren’t late either,Roy came down and chatted about my race and how he knew a local lad who was also racing and we found him a very nice man who enjoyed our sarcastic funny sense of humour and we enjoyed the banter on our stay with both Fiona and Roy who were both great fun and enjoyed a laugh and joke with us.
The breakfasts are great with cereals on the side board and cooked breakfast ordered the evening before and ready for you at you chosen time between 07:30 and 08:30 which was perfect for us.
If I’m ever up that way again I can’t see myself looking any where else other than Rona B&B for lodgings and can’t recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: Just the lane can be quite bumpy so don’t take the Ferrari.

Fantastic stay. Roy and fiona are a lovely couple. Very easy going letting us use their decking to BBQ with amazing views over the loch. They also had plenty of suggestions for days out.
We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend it.
Thanks for a great stay. Steve and Helen

Would give a bigger rating if possible. Fiona was amazing, very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Amazing location on the waterfront and would highly recommend to anyone. The trek to the house was an adventure which was great, saw lots of wildlife and this added to the experience. It was excellent value for money. Thank you for inviting us into your home.

Beautiful position. Host very friendly. Good breakfast. Right on the beach looking across to Plockton and beyond to Skye, absolutely stunning. Watched sun setting and hoped to spot Otters/seals but alas not that evening

Clean complete room with bathroom en-suite, very friendly helpfull hosts! Unique place to stay for a couple of days, the beautiful route to the B&B Rona is the promissing "starter" for a comfertable stay in this beautiful site in beautiful Scotland. From this location we do recommend a 2 3/4 hour car or motorbike trip over scenic stunning road to Applecross and Fearnmore. Forget about the Isles of Skye: Applecross area is much more spectecular! Best quality for decent price.

This is a great location on the edge of Lochcarron, lovely views from the decking, however it was about 5 miles one way down to the house which was a long jaunt.
The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. However would have preferred a lock on the bedroom door for security and personal safety, also not keen that with the twin room we had to walk past the breakfast room to the bathroom. The breakfast room is one table for all guests.
Pity we didn’t see the board games the night before as it had been too wet and cold to sit outside.

Stayed here on our NC500 trip. A lovely house with stunning views over the loch to Plockton....we were treated to seals and an otter the evening we stayed....if only the midges had disappeared we would have stayed out past 10 pm enjoying the views and tranquility of the surroundings.

Roy and Fiona ('Rona') made me very welcome at the B&B at Ardaneaskan at the far end of the 5-mile lochside lane way beyond the local metropolis of Lochcarron (where there is a choice of restaurants, a shop or two, petrol stations, local facilities, etc). Their B&B is well-equipped, clean, quiet, comfortable with superb views across Loch Carron to the Strome Islands, Plockton, and the Skye Cuillins on the horizon when the weather's fine. Generous breakfasts included. Own transport is advisable - it's a long (pleasant) walk to anywhere.

This is a remote B&B but well worth the drive past Loch Carron.
What a wonderful view, lovely location, clean & tidy b&b with attentive hosts with excellent local knowledge!
Roy gave us great tips for the trip
Book the loch side room the view is to die for.

Roy and Fiona have a great B&B in a stunning location literally 10 metres from the shoreline of Loch Carron. This was our first stop on our North Coast 500 trip.
After a fantastic day visiting Rogie Falls and Eilean Donan Castle on the first leg of our trip it was nice to arrive late afternoon and watch seals though binoculars on one of the small islands just away from the shore.
A great night's sleep and a lovely breakfast was great preparation for our travels. Roy also provided us with some very useful information to really help our travels on day 2 of the trip. Both he and his wife were incredibly friendly and helpful.
