Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Awesome guesthouse! We stayed two nights and the hosts were amazing. The rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was the best I’ve had since being in Scotland (so many choices). We stayed in Room 1 which doesn’t have an ensuite but it wasn’t too bad. The private bathroom was just down the hall. I would highly recommend!

A high quality guesthouse. Warm and friendly hosts. Immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable bedrooms. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice and healthy options. Highly recommended. We spent a restful night at Seaview before catching the ferry to Inverrie.

Stayed for five nights in the wonderful Seaview Guest House in Mallaig. We stayed in the annex part of the building, attached to the side of the house. Great for self catering, spotlessly clean, great wifi, superb location, vfm. Will be back

Beautifully clean and comfortable room with views over the harbour. Fabulous breakfast, probably one of the best B&B breakfasts we have had. All pre ordered and waiting for you.. Perfect. Friendly hosts. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an excellent, quiet, guesthouse, and very convenient for the ferry. The breakfast ingredients were carefully chosen for quality, and the dishes were beautifully presented. This was one of the best breakfasts that I have had anywhere!

Lovely room and great view over the harbour, absolutely spotless . Very welcoming and the Scottish breakfast was extremely good. An ideal B and B for catching the ferry and would have no hesitation in recommending and staying again.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Skye, and we found everything of the highest quality. The room and bathroom were spotless and it was nice to have two comfortable armchairs to relax in. We had an early ferry so unfortunately could not sample the breakfast, but I would very much recommend this guest house.
