The unit was clean, in a great location and Robin and Jason are fantastic hosts. All around our trip was great and we look forward to returning. This was our first trip to the kootenays and it is beautiful! Stunning views, friendly people and generally just a quaint amazing place.

Excellent cabin to stay in a beautiful town with a great view 5 mins walk down to a stony beach. Very clean, plentifully stocked, comfortable furniture. Great downsized kitchen, can cook your own meals and play board games with friends.

My wife and I were in Silverton for a wedding in late June. The weather was perfect and the scenery gorgeous! Staying here at William Hunter Cabins just made the visit much more enjoyable! When we arrived we were greeted by Robin and Jay, the owners of Wililam Hunter Cabins. They were very welcoming and showed us our cabin. We... More

These cabins are spotless. Clean crisp linens, lots of towels, a kitchenette with all the necessary supplies, a gas barbeque. Two blocks from a beautiful lake and breathtaking mountain scenery. Forget about the TV, telus is the only cel phone carrier. Get out on the lake, fish, swim or waterski, go for a hike, enjoy! Lethbridge, AB

Located centrally in the charming village of Silverton, the cabins had a new feel about them. The outside deck lead us into two spacious rooms. A clean, simple & neat interior with the smell of fresh linen & towels. Our friends stayed next door & sound insulation was good as our early rising 5 year old did not wake them... More

The cabin was nice and clean, roomy and very quiet. We especially picked this place because one other guest commented on the fast Internet service on this site. We were disappointed to find out after we checked in that there was no TV and No Internet service. Website should be updated to let visitors know that there is no Internet... More

Cabin was huge compared to a Motel. The owners really thought about the visitors stay. Complete with BBQ, fire pit, and we had wine glasses which were a nice touch!!! We could see the lake from our deck. Beautiful and friendly location. Met alot of locals that may end up being friends. Towels were brand new and fluffy. There was... More

Three nights here in one of the cabins centrally situated in the quiet and pleasant Kootenay village of Silverton. Reception was friendly and our cabin had a large, plainly furnished wood-floored room with a nice dining table, settee and sofa-bed. The integral kitchenette was not particularly well laid out and had a two ring hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, coffeemaker and... More
