As an elderly couple we spent two nights at Lake Cowichan Lodge during an island road trip. We thought it excellent value at 123 CAD for the space, comfort and amenities provided in the Queen bed suite at the back of the building. We endorse the positive comments by others. Of the negative comments, we were not troubled by the...

Stayed two nights at the Lake Cowichan Lodge. Very ample accommodations, spacious with living room with kitchenette and separate bedroom. Furnishings are a little dated but comfortable. Location is quiet. Hotel is not on the lake if that's what you're looking for. No breakfast included either.

Welcomed late at night by a lovely young man who was friendly and helpful. We were tired and dusty after travelling off road for 4 hours. We could not find a fault but if if there was anything, it was that the showers from other rooms could be heard.

A little off the beaten track in Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island, but if you're wanting to stay in Lake Cowichan, you should stay here. Our room had a separate bedroom with a queen bed that was really comfortable. We were on the ground floor and had a nice patio with chairs. The Lodge is run by a very friendly...

Spent two one-week stints in this hotel and was very pleased with my stay. Staff were always available right away to help and offered a significant multi-night discount, making the stay very affordable. The one bedroom suite I stayed in was great. Clean, spacious, and had all the amenities I needed. I was quite surprised to get as much space...

We stayed at the Lake Cowichan Lodge for two nights for a hockey tournament. The manager (who we presumed was the owner) was very pleasant and happy to accommodate our needs. The hotel is certainly very basic and nothing the slightest bit fancy. We paid $104 per night (taxes included) for a 1-bedroom suite and opted for the fold-out couch...

This hotel is on the main road into town and is reasonably priced. The decor is very old and dated but the unit was clean. We had a small kitchen, living room and a bedroom. Laundry was available. Try to get a room away from the road to cut down on noise. There seemed to be a lot of long...

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Fairly recently refurbished, comfy bed, spacious kitchen area. Would recommend to anyone staying in Cowichan. The staff were friendly but the highlight for me was the size of the car park - very useful if you have a big truck or a caravan.

We stopped in Cowichan Lake on our recent road trip on Vancouver Island. The Lake Cowichan Lodge accommodated us at reasonable price. Our room was essentially a suite with kitchenette, which was great to permit me to get up in the morning without disturbing my wife. We were on the quiet back side of the building - great for us...

We booked the lodge for the Duncan baseball provincials. It was the perfect place for our sports team. The kitchenette was very handy in between games. Our team would BBQ in the parking lot as there wasn't a grassy area. That was fine. Tubing down the cowichan river ended only minutes from the lodge. We saw deer and even a...
