The Toorak manor was good value for money particularly for its location. Only a short walk to some excellent restaurants. My only criticism would be it could get a little noisy from other guests as you can hear the floorboards creaking from people walking around, but I would still stay again.

We stayed here one night. I would classify it as a B and B type accommodation if you also had the breakfast as it felt like you were staying in someone's grand house. It was good to have easy free off street parking. There is a nice lounge room which we used as we had a visitor to see us....

We chose this accommodation as we like older style traditional character hotels which provide more space and this also had free parking. As we were staying for several days, we chose an upstairs deluxe room, as they are larger and quieter than the standard rooms which much smaller, more basic, and the siting of them is less favourable i.e. ground...

Beautiful old building, that has been tastefully decorated. Off street parking. Spacious rooms tastefully decorated providing old world charm. The large room also had a well designed en suite of to one side. The breakfast was very basic and there were no instructions on how to work the coffee machine. The attitude of the non European staff left a lot...

After reading some reviews I was a bit sceptical about staying here but for the price for a family of 3 found it a good price. We arrived after 6pm and had a PIN number to get in, room key in its bid, room was better than I thought! Very clean, bed linens excellent, bed comfortable and extra pillows if...

The hotels rooms are very clean, spacious and decorated in a lovely way in keeping with the old style building. The gardens, however, need a lot of tidying up and are unattractive. The hotel staff left a lot to be desired and although quite pleasant refused to go out of their way, despite promises made, to provide any extra benefits,...

Stayed here before a couple of years ago so knew what to expect , yes the place hasn't changed at all ! It sure is not a five star ' Hilton' , interesting , yes ! Haven't tried the breakfast though so cannot comment on that , reason for our stay , close proximity to Toorak Road and our friend's...

Beautiful building, and staff were very very friendly, which was appreciated after a long day. Room comfy, bed even better. Loved the location, Toorak was new to us, and we got to enjoy the city without worrying about parking etc. Recommended

I had a lovely two nights here. Good location, nice vintage style, maybe a little tired but the beds and shower were good and it has character. Good value for money. The thing that did piss me off a bit, was their lack of customer service. I woke up at 9 am to go to a breakfast meeting. Hence, I...

We stayed for 7 nights in late January while we were in Melbourne for the Australian Open tennis. The location is fantastic. It is away from the busy city and a 2 min walk from Hawksburn train station, which is only 2 stops to the tennis (Richmond station). It is also close enough to the city and Tram lines, and...
