Beautiful, Australian country side inn, which I would have expected to be a brilliant location for a wedding. Unfortunately for the guests staying at the inn after the ceremony, we were treated like naughty disruptive children for daring to be awake, sitting around a table, enjoying a drink with the Bride and Groom at midnight. Imagine the embarrassment of having...

Do you want to have your wedding ended at 1030 pm? Do you want all of your alcohol locked up with the key hidden away? Are you looking for someone to tell a quiet group of 8 people to go to bed at midnight? Better yet do you want to be monitored at all times? Then this is the place...

We stayed at Girraween the first weekend of July 2016. When we arrived we were surprised to have no internet or phone service. Is very good that they offer wifi - however it is a very disruptive service with continual drop outs - but sufficient to check in with family back home. no in house restaurant for dinner - we...

Loft is roomy , but shower is terrible and a fireplace is too small for size of loft. Also oven does not work very well at all. Apart from that was a great place for the kids to explore.. Great location for visiting the wineries and not too far from anything

Apollonia was a beautiful host, who went out of her way to ensure myself and my friends had a wonderful stay. We hired out the loft chalet and one of the twin rooms in the guest house. The loft chalet was so unique and had a beautiful feel about the place. It fully self contained. Apollonia was very happy for...

Be prepared for solitude. This is such a beautiful quiet place, i am actually kicking myself for not finding this years ago. We are frequent visitors of the area and have always stayed in motels in Stanthorpe. We decided on something down around Ballendean as we had other day plans in the area and didn't want to travel too far....

Disappointed. * rooms were not large but felt smaller due to the angle of the roof. * bar fridge (HA!) - was more like a drink cooler which could only fit 5 cans. It is not a fridge. Think esky :-( doesn't keep contents cold at all. * consider location if you are doing a winery tour. The restaurant was...

We have just had the best long weekend with another family at the Girraween Country Inn, we were treated by our hosts Nicole and Steve, together with their 2 children, dog Toby and Cat Tommy. Our hosts couldn't have done more for us. We went for walks in the National Park that backs onto the property. All of the 8...

We stayed here with another family. The workers cottage transformed into accommodation is quirky and comfortable. It was a cool weekend but had use of a pot belly fireplace and reverse cycle air conditioning. They boys loved running up and down amongst the granite hills. A great location to visit wineries and other attractions. We would stay here again. We...

Apolonia is an amazing host and the inn is absolutely gorgeous! The place has such a great atmosphere and is surrounded by beautiful nature all around. The garden is very well maintained, everything seems to be taken care of with love and attention to detail. I was there with friends, but I would recommend this place to anyone, I'm sure...
