Enjoyed our stay. Pleasant welcome, very clean facilities, good value, good size tent pitch and lovely views. A nice 10 mins or so walk to the town centre. This camp site, like many, does seems to be very strict on the 10 am check out and oh dear, we were half an hour late leaving on a very wet morning...

If your looking for a quite place to stay in Hanmer Springs camping try the Pine Holiday Park. The facilities are clean and tidy along with more than ample camp sites. As it was not so busy we even got our dog in there too. A very easy walk to all the shops or if your into golf it is...

We stayed one night in a caravan site. We felt that with a $43 per night cost for this site we would have had showers included but no there was a 50c extra cost. Not a lot extra but leaves a sour taste. Also if paying by credit card there is an additional 80c. We booked to arrive at 1pm...

If you want your traveler spirit to be distroyed then this is the place for you. We experienced the worst service we have come across in our 2 wks travelling around the south island. The owner was outright rude and the most unfriendliest person I have met. Stay at the alpine holiday camp just down the road - friendly -...

Stayed in a motel unit and was very happy with the facilities, was exactly what we needed for the night. Location is great for the kids, plenty of space to run around. Close to a playground and playing field. Definitely will be back.

We have stayed here before and will no doubt do so again. Clean and tidy - good bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities. One of the big positives of this place is how close it is to the centre of Hanmer Springs. The quality of welcome and quality of stay was good.

The pines is in a great location near the springs. There are basic kitchen facilities but you will need your own pots, utensils and crockery. Everything was clean and well kept. Be aware for winter the kitchen is pretty chilly and there is no other common room, not great for those in small campervans. If you feel like stretching your...

The facilities were very clean & the showers were great 50c surcharge ..I used $1 & the time was really long! ..so 50c adequate for time in shower. The taps & grey water drain are close to site. There...

I booked with less than a week's notice for a busy long weekend and the owner was able to squeeze our big caravan on a site that was capable of getting sky tv (some sites have trees that obsure the satilte connection). Had a great time there. But we had mechanical issues on check out day with our new 4wd...

This campsite charges a overnight fee per person, then an extra $1 if you want power, then 50cent for a 6 minute shower, they also charge for WIFI. It all felt a little stingy and not very friendly, all other parks we stayed in did not charge separately for showers and power, would rather pay a fixed fee.
