Stayed here while cycling the GTT. The bike company chose the accommodation and Sherry was very responsive when we arrived at the house. She showed us around and told us how things worked. Our bedroom was cosy and had a nice sized bathroom attached with a great shower. We had a terrific view of the vineyards! The bed was comfortable....

Lovely location, very peaceful and the setting is idyllic. Sherry and her mum were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and with regard to someone's comment re a noisy water system, we had no issues at all. There was lots of hot water and the shower was a good one. We were able to use the kitchen...

A beautiful place located in the middle of a vineyard, peaceful, quiet in which the owner Sherry ( and her mam?) makes you feel home. There is a "little attention" in everything she does (as we say in France). You can tell she likes to share the passion for her country and specifically the Nelson area and make people confortable....

We were looking forward very much to staying at the Brettons Retreat, and we did find that the house itself has been beautifully restored, and the bedrooms very comfortable. We stayed there for two nights, and upon our arrival were greeted briefly by our hostess. Breakfasts were very good, but unfortunately, our host did not introduce himself which felt a...

Stayed there recently with a group of six while cycling the Great Taste Trail. The rooms were very comfortable and the premises were spotlessly clean. Pierre prepared us a lovely evening meal and we enjoyed a sumptuous breakfast. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone.

My wife and I stayed at Brettons Retreat for one night as part of our cycling trip on the 'Great Taste Trail'. The house is ideally located in the middle of a vineyard. It is clean, tastefully furnished and combined with the Vista provides a relaxing interlude. We had pre-ordered dinner, which was both ample and absolutely delicious. Our hosts...

Brettons Retreat is an amazing B&B I stayed here with my family recently and found it to be one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. Very relaxing, very chilled out. Great breakfast cooked by the French couple who run the place (they were very friendly). The B&B is set in a vineyard which is beautiful...

We were supposed to stay only 1 night but felt so well that we stayed 2! It is surrounded by vineyards, on the road to Abel Tasman and 20min from Nelson so perfect for activities. We stayed on December 25th so the hosts (Pierre and Emma) prepared us a wonderful meal that we all shared and this was great! We...
