When we arrived we were a bit disappointed as it felt as if the small campsite was a bit of a let down...BUT it was just great. We had elephants at our tent three of four times every day, the monkeys came to check on us and we had a very good dinner and drinks, served by friendly and efficient staff at the lodge. The camping ablutions are fantastic. Will definitely try to come back. Management is very helpful, even came to check that we had everything we needed.

Here for a wedding and what a venue. Elephants, hippos, warthogs and monkeys walking around the area. Staff supervise so no danger just pure joy at seeing these wonderful animals close up. Lovely restaurant, garden and chalets. Fab for fishing or boat trips on the Zambezi.

After five days of camping wild in Mana Pools, Tiger Fish lodge was the excellent place to refresh and relax. Everything was just right there: the accommodation, the warm friendly staff, the wonderful boot safari/fishing trip and the entire atmosphere at their site. As a bonus, there was the swimming pool, for some reasons not highlighted on their site, which was visited regularly by elephants. Just go there!!

This is a little bit of heaven on earth! The chalets are very comfortable and the shower is amazing. The restaurant is superb. Every meal we ate there was flawless and extremely tasty. Caught my first ever tiger fish - with a lot of help from Colin our guide. He has the patience of a saint and was helpful, encouraging and very pleasant. All the staff at Tiger Safaris were pleasant and helpful. A very relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The kitchen was very well equipped. Will certainly go back.

I visited with my wife and five grown up children. We had the best fishing of our lives, and each of us caught large tiger fish. Our guide, Amos, was very skilled, helpful - and patient! Very helpful and pleasant staff. Delicious and affordable food in the restaurant. Very comfortable accommodation. What a holiday!

While we didn't stay at the lodges (we have our own home nearby), we did take a half day to go fishing for tiger fish. What an experience it was! Our guide, Albert, was super friendly and helpful, and also very knowledgeable. With his guidance and expertise, we managed to catch 3 tiger fish...ok, i'm pushing it, my wife caught the first one, the biggest one, and the second one. I caught the smallest and last one, but still enjoyed it thoroughly. We spotted an elephant on shore and Albert made the effort to start the boat and bring us closer to show us. Say hi to Kurt Russell when you go. You can't miss him.

I stayed here with my three daughters, my mum and my wife two nights in February. We had a great time there. We were greeted by elephants the morning we left. We went out fishing which was a great experience, highly recommended. They have good food and a very friendly staff.

My wife and I travelled up from Harare for our first true wilderness experience.....20 minutes after arriving, while taking a dip in the pool, our first elephant cruised in for a drink at the adjacent waterhole....off to a great start. Obviously that was a bucket list moment, at least for us, but let me give you an overview of our stay: great views of the Zambezi River, lots of bird life, close up encounters of elephants, hippos, monkeys, warthogs, deer and crocs at a distance. Guided fishing trips are also offered, and while we did not have time to drop a line in the Zambezi, those that did see to have a great time. The staff at the lodge were very welcoming and the owners Michelle and Tim have taught everyone the importance of customer service. The lodge gives you the option to self cater - great facilities in the kitchens - or the option to dine in-house (which we did). We found the food to be delicious and very reasonably priced as were the drinks. The accommodation was comfortable and I slept like a baby. The shower was hot and the loo was comfortable (always a thing for me). This is not the Four Season and that’s a really good thing. We will be back, hopefully very soon. Thanks to Michelle and Tim. …
