We booked last minute and there were very few rooms available on the beach for the long weekend. We had a room in the back of the resort which is through a garden which is dirty and not maintained. The room was cheap and you get what you pay for on Samet. That said there is a fridge, the water... More

Location is good near by the sea and nesrby are restaurants. but price is high compared what you get. Wouldun't recommend if you are on budget trip or looking something "More romantic" :) service could also have been politer. All in all not that bad or not that great.

I booked a twin bed room but it was almost one double bed as the two beds were almost together, separated by a very small space only. With the size and type of room I say the cost per night is higher than what is it worth as compared to other islands I had visited, although breakfast is included. Ao... More

Living in one of four newer room for 1500 Baht per night is definitely worth the money, rooms are probably the best value for money on Vong Duen Beach. Breakfast is not included and one have to let star know if rooms shall be cleaned.

the place looks ok (just like numerous other small bars and so called "restaurants" at different beaches of Koh Samed island). the staff can understand some english. however, a small portion of pina colada costs 200B, that's 1.5 times more expensive than at other bars we've been to during the last few days.

It's cheap and simple but clean and just a minute walk to the beach. They don't have interconnecting rooms, and only double/queen beds but it's still comfortable. The owner/manger is very helpful. The bathrooms are very simple and have mozzies, so take spray. The beach is really pretty but the water can have a little of plastic bags and bottles... More

Very unfriendly on our arrival, bungalow had 3 windows you cannot see out of so feel very shut in. If you could see out it would be bungalows or the building site right opposite. Very noisy people about at night and path beside bungalow turned out to be small road for motorbikes, bikes were revving up and down until 3am.... More

Nice location right on the beach, right next to a minimart. The bungalows were nice and clean, air-con and hot water, cleaning on request. Also a nice patio but beware of the mosqitos, for about an hour every night they will swarm around you, a good time to take a nap inside! Their resturant was good. Best thing about the... More
