We visited here last year by accident booked through the website and did not expect that much as for sightseeing. However the location quite alright if you were traveling with motorbikes rental that provided the whole island since step in.

The first arrived here we were impressed with cleanliness of the resort and decorated simple but class. Staff were friendly as usual in Thailand which not much compared but the flexible they provide quite impressed.

One more thing you cannot miss is two swimming pool in one Resort which incredible you may see in five star hotel but we not expect to see on the Samed island. Just wow.

Guest room design and decorate quite good and all needs equipped. Food in the restaurant were great.

That's reason why all of us decided to return stay. Will see you again.

Recommended.

A real calm, relaxed resort out of the main tourist area and so much better for it. If you want a full on Party experience this is not the place for you, but if you want to unwind this is a great find.
The rooms are large, clean and bright and the staff go out of their eay to make you feel welcome. Add a few more amenities and a little more attention to detail and you would have a gem.
We stayed a week and really enjoyed being there and would definitely return again. In terms of value for money this certainly delivers.

Had a wedding party of 35 people stay at resort.

Clean rooms, amazing staff, 2 clean pools, nice bar with good food, staff very helpfull, to arrange taxis, boats , bikes. Great location tucked away from the noise, from the main stretch of the island .

Love view and nice place. But too far from beach and other restaurant. Love place that there are swimming pools and table tennis. But resort is the end of the road cannot walk, need to bike only. I tried to walk it's take 30 minutes to restaurant.

I booked 4 nites but i cancelled the last nite due to their renovation noise, drilling and hacking from 8am to 5pm on top of the building i m staying. Yes, the infro page stated that contruction on another side of this place, but wrong information. Due to raining while i was there for few days, i can't get to anywhere, as this place is located far from town side and along long way out to the beach which cannot swim. You can go the a nice beach on the other side of the island but a taxi will cost 400baht - 600 baht one way. Any other place like pub, bar and other restaurants will be 200 baht for one way. I can stay at the bar of the hotel but there are countless flys over the bar. But, i must say the apartment is really big and clean, the chef cooked well and plus point a salted pool. If you don't ride a bike don't stay here, if you ride need to be very careful, cos this not a proper road, when is raining is muddy. If you just want to relax in this place is fine , other wise find a better and more convenient place to stay. But "this apartment room is actually nice". Too Bad, wrong time to me.

Would be a great place without builders and accompanying noise

Still don't get why no one flagged this issue.

So when you get to the pier from the mainland you have a choice. Rent a scooter or take a songtaew. A songtaew is 100 baht per person one way. A scooter is about 200-300 per DAY. So that's difficult to compute. Pack light and take the scooter and return it when you leave the island. I made the mistake of taking the songtaew and renting a scooter from the resort which at 350 baht per day is basically the most expensive option. The staff was welcoming. The pool? First, let's say the reason I stayed here is wifi and a pool. Imagine when I saw the pool and it was black. Not cloudy. I mean black. It looked like it was full of ink. I have never ever seen something so uninviting. It pains me to post the pool photo as I am sure it will eat into their business here but Tripadvisor is about letting people know what the cons are, not the pros. When I am researching a location I need to know about the dealbreakers not the dealmakers. The staff could be shooting rainbows from their backdoors but that means NOTHING when the pool is so black it looks like the ocean at night. The bed describe by another reviewer as "big and comfortable" would be that if you were staying in a prison cell in Afghanistan, not a hotel room anywhere else. Even my Thai gf said the metal springs were hurting her neck. This coming from a person who has no problem at all sleeping on a hard floor. She eventually quit the bed and took the love seat to sleep on because she was so uncomfortable. The bedroom has FIVE high watt overhead lights which you can choose to turn on only one. But even using only one of these high watt bulbs gave the bedroom the ambiance of an operating table. There is no nightstand. Not a huge deal but your coffee, water bottle, ipad all wind up under the bed or spilled over on the floor for this reason. There is no table in the living room so you have to hold your beer and pistachios or whatever you like to eat in your lap or again use the floor. It's less than ideal. How much could a small table possibly cost? The sofa is a love seat. There is no other seating in the living room. The love seat becomes tight quarters if you want to stretch out at all and impossible with a companion. The bathroom is a wetroom. Personally its ok with me but the floors never dry because there was not enough of a slant put on the floor masonry and the drain is completely on the opposite side of the room from the shower so the sink and toilet area are always wet. The toilet water is orange. I don't drink from there so was not an issue for me but may be for you. A few other guest had left some bottles out near the swamp (pool) and I noticed at 1AM the bottles were all sitting empty with staff surfing the internet nearby but not picking up the bottles. Pool decks and glass need to be separated as soon as possible. It can only lead to an injury. So I guess the magical staff everyone reviewed was not so magical after all. Also, we came back from dinner after dark and found the entry to our room at the rear of the building is not lit. And by not lit I mean pitch black. We were feeling around with hands and feet looking for the stairs and hand rail. Not a single lit bulb in the walkway. Very strange. The maid had two days to clean my room, she only showed up for one. So unwelcoming to spend a day at the beach and come back to a resort with an unusable pool and an un-made room to relax in. The "resort" is far from everything which is ok for me because it forces me to explore but trust me, it's near nothing. I never saw a full sized fridge used as a mini bar. I would call it a maxi bar! It was appreciated and not overpriced as they tend to be. The rooms and furniture are clean and nearly new. The tv is nice and new and the wifi works well. It's very affordable. I'm running out of pros. I usually only post a review when I feel the current reviews are inaccurate and that is definitely the case here. There are far more accurate reviews on bookingdotcom than TA in this case. Im sorry, but I am still thinking about this pool. I used to have a pool so I understand maintenance. I would guess it's a black algae caused by total disregard for chemical balance, my point is that it may be cleaned up one day but it will take several weeks from the date of this review. I cant believe no staff even felt the urge to comment on it. Wow, black pool, what a sight.
