Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very friendly staff. Nice garden and pool area where we enjoyed a splendid panoramic view towards the mountains and the valley of Innsbruck. At arrival we were offered an upgrade to a superior room (additional 10 euros per night) but we kept the comfort room (room 16), having a wonderful balcony with a nice view. The breakfast was quite good. Very bad and unstable wifi everywhere at the hotel. The breakfast did not start before 7:30 am, being is a little late for us. Unfortunately it was not possible to check out before the reception opened at 8:00 (the staff did not show up before 8:15). Be aware that there is a 15-20 min. drive to Innsbruck and there is only very few restaurants nearby.

We were really happy with our summer holidays in this hotel! Very nice accomodations, friendly staff and very flexible. Also concerned about helping with a dayplanning if you don't know what to do yet. Highly recommended!

Wow! We enjoyed our stay in this hotel! This hotel is a great find. The staff is friendly, helpfull and really caring for the guests. The grounds, pool and terasses are nicely maintained. The breakfast buffet is complete. The hotel offers a lunch/picknick service if you want to take out lunch. Rooms are spatious and spotless. Only thing we missed in our room was an aircon. Even in Tulfes the summers can be quite warm. Do not hesitate to book this hotel.

We only know about the restaurant of the hotel. I am not a German food lover but the chef of this restaurant has some magic in his hand. We stayed there for three days. We had our first day dinner here and couldn't dare to change our mind after that. All the dishes we tried were super tasty at a reasonable price. The kid's menu were awesome with five different varieties. The playground along with retaurant was another attraction for the young guests.

Late arrival in the hotel in which I was awaited (23:00) for the check-in ... Nice welcome and chat with the receptionist .... The place is huge and typically decorated .... Rooms are really cosy and when you wake up, you are rewarded by the view and don't regret haven chosen a place outside of Innsbruck .... Breakfast is excellent and plentiful in a nice dining room offering a fantastic view on the valley ... If the temperatures are right, you can even enjoy it on the terrasse ... Will certainly stay here next time I explore the valley ...

Wonderful hotel. The pool is gorgeous and great for kids. The breakfast and dinner (half pension) were generous, fresh, and typically austrian. The staffand owners were helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming.

Everything about this hotel is of the highest order, with very helpful and attentive staff. Its situation above the Inn valley is very peaceful, with excellent views of the mountains. There is a good bus service too to Innsbruck and Hall in Tirol.

This hotel has been for me over the past years like my second home ! The personnel are outstanding with their hospitality , the rooms are very comfortable, and the food is excellent . In my opinion , this hotel encompasses much of what I love about Austria and is nestled in this very charming and scenic area near Innsbruck.!!

Hotel Geisler is like a cosy fireplace that warms me everytime i'm there. It was the 3rd time i visited Hotel Geisler. It's a place to enjoy the peace and nature of the mountains which are very close but also the vibrance of the city of Innsbruck (10 - 15 mins by car). Isabella, the hotel owner, makes sure you get everything you need. Roland is a great host making sure you have the best drinks and laughter. The half board arrangement is one not to refuse... a great breakfast to choose from with a bio corner if you like healthy food. The dinner is a wonderful 4 course menu where you have choices and every special request is dealt with pleasure by the staff. Don't forget to enjoy the outdoor pool (summer) and the indoor sauna and steambath. You have a choice of several skiiing resorts near Hotel Geisler, even glacier skiing on the Stubai glacier gives you certainty. The wifi coverage is not always at the fullest in the rooms but further it's a great place to stay and to come back!
