We stayed in this hotel 3 nights. The staffs speaks english, but was not pleasant every day. Our room was acceptable - clean and comfortable enough with nice balcony mountines view. The wifi was horrible. My colleague had the same problem. We ussually spent approx.30 minutes for log in. Internet is very slow. Standard but same breakfast buffet menu for... More

We found the staff friendly and helpful. Although the bathroom was tiny the room was nice and clean. The garden and pool areas are very nice. We enjoyed dinner on the patio of the restaurant and breakfast the next morning in the dining room. The location was great for traveling from Salzburg to Hallstatt.

We were right in front of the hotel room 225 overlooking the road so very noisy room. We were told where to sit at breakfast, with another couple we didn't know tho there were empty tables. No hairdryer, checkout 10am. It's way out of the village and we paid 8 Euros to go back in to the local pool as... More

The hotel has a very good location with being within 15 km from Hallstatt. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was superb. The restaurant also had a nice atmosphere. The rooms were OK as well, although the bed seemed to be a bit too old and the Wifi signal was sometimes very weak. Plus one of... More

Some rooms are renovated but ours wasn't. It was a flashback to the sixties with outdated bathroom. Still it was neat and tidy and we gotten the last room left. We were at the back side so the view was fantastic, but the weather was hot and no air condition and too hot to open sliders. There was a nice... More

I can't say many positive things about this hotel. It's not terrible, but its best days are over. The furniture is really old, in the bathroom everything is apple green, something that was cool 40 years ago. The "spa area" doesn't look invitingly, the breakfast is pretty poor. The mountain view, if you're lucky enough to get one, is not... More

We stayed there for 1 night on our way to Hallstatt. It offers beautiful view from the balcony. However, the room feels quite old and out-dated. The free breakfast was okay - beverages (coffee/juice) were watered-down and pastries were dry; ham & cheese offerings were average. The bathroom was very small. Location wise, it is convenient if you are heading... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid October and took the half board option which included breakfast and dinner. Bad Goisern is in the middle of nowhere but it is a great base to stay in to visit the area and wont break the bank. It is very easy to find as it is on the main road. We... More

Arriving in Bad Ischl on Pfingstwochenende (Pentecost holiday) by train without prior hotel reservation was risky. The oh so very helpful lady at the Tourist Information center in Bad Ischl recommended "Hotel Lindwurm" in Bad Goisern and I was glad she did. The bus stops almost right in front of the hotel, very convenient. My room was very clean, affordable... More

The room was really nice, one of the best we tried during our trip in salzkagermut. The view from our balcony = WOW!!! But the service wasn't very good and the food wasn't really good for the supper. For the little breakfast it was ok.
