It's a nice enough hotel in the city center but ridiculously overpriced for what it offers. A normal double room is the "Junior suite" (130 euros per night!), the smaller rooms are more like shoe boxes. The staff is very very friendly, the owner extremely rude. I stayed there together with cca 20 colleagues for a week for business. For...

This hotel is a bit unconventional (reception at 1st floor, rooms at 2d and 3d) and everything looks a bit tiny (reception area, rooms), but in total I had a nice short stay in this hotel. Room was clean, nice breakfast, friendly receptionist. The hotel has no dedicated parking, there are areas around. I was a bit unlucky to have...

I stayed here for 2 nights and found staff to be very welcoming, comfortable beds, spotless rooms and a wonderful breakfast buffet! I was surprised at the variety presented at breakfast and, yes, there were chocolates. The location is very convenient to the Grote Markt and it is about a 10 minute walk from the station. (It may take a...

We stayed in a smaller, cheaper room ("cheap" = €110). We were very disappointed about the room. The blinds didn't work (one didn't close and one didn't open), the jetstreams in the shower didn't work (why have a shower with jetstreams and not have those work?), there were only two plugs (one extension lead making this four plugs), all of...

This was my third stay at Cicindria. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathrooms are lovely and the breakfast is great, plentiful and a big variety. Friendly staff and I will definitely recommend them for an extended stay. The location is convenient to the Grote Markt and many of the surrounding restaurants and shops.

The hotel is in the centre and for those in love with old European urbanization ( like myself ) the views are quite nice. You get to see brick facades, overlook the small streets, etc. Very cozy, the interior is simple, yet chic and quite functional - you get all you need. The staff is very responsive and kind, breakfast...

Not a lot of features, but very calm with very small amount of rooms. Centrally in dint truiden, while difficult to park at no cost, it's good when you want to walk and sleep. There is no view to anywhere, but as I said, it's just enough for a good night of sleep and a cool breakfast

Friendly and efficient. Centrally located. No dining room (apart from breakfast room) but handy for Grot Markt (central square) which has several good shops and brasserie style restaurants. Fritterie and (in season) mussel eateries not far away. Most of the Cicindria hotel rooms seem to have been recently renovated (2012). Top floor rooms in part a bit short of headroom...

“Baths in the en suite bathrooms are pretty shallow so unless you're a thin person, or for other reasons you like small baths, it's probably best to stick with an en suite shower room and save a few Euros.”
