We spotted the four star Grand Hotel Bellevue (1912) during a heritage walk in the Belgian seaside resort De Haan and thought it would be nice to spend the night to experience the Belle Epoque charm close-up. So we booked a superior twin de luxe. At 145 euro (without breakfast) on a weekday in October it was fairly expensive. We...

Very friendly staff and reception, you immediately feel at home. Cosy and nice rooms (I even had a jacuzzi), soft bed, very clean, modern bathroom, very spacious. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel are good and recommendable. Watch with the bar though, we've paid over 40 euro for 2 gin tonics.. at walking distance from the coast, approx 10 minutes....

I have now stayed twice at this hotel with my family. It's a incredibly well run hotel definitely well above average for a small coastal town. Rooms are bright, incredibly clean and very tastefully furnished. Breakfast is adequate and the evening restaurant food is very good. Service in general, is also very good and the standard has been consistent over...

Otherwise nice hotel but approaches used in cleaning of the room left something to be desired. When I accidentally visited our room during cleaning process, I found the glass used when brushing teeth in the same sink with toilet brush holder - apparently it is ok to wash them together. I found it gross and very unhygienic. When I mentioned...

This is a beautifully refurbished and well kept private owned and very clean hotel. We stayed in a Superior DeLuxe room which was very pleasant and spacious. Breakfast buffet is sumptious and of high quality. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers á la carte as well as a daily changing menu. A great place to stay...

De Haan is an old seaside resort town and keeps a lot of its original charm. The Grand Hotel Belle Vue is a lovely old hotel opposite the well restored little tram station and only a short walk away from the beautiful beach front. The hotel itself is a historic hotel on the outside, its interior is traditional modern and...

Stayed in this lovely hotel on our way home from holidaying in the Alps. It was a real highlight of the trip. Wonderful, warm and friendly service with personal touches (treats for our dog!). The hotel is beautifully designed, with understated, stylish lobby, bar and restaurant. The room itself was large and comfortable. Everything is immaculate (like De Haan itself)....

Nice hotel with friendly staff; Personal welcome. Ee enjoyed also a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant, good food and again friendly staff. Breakfast was very comprehensive. We had the "tower room" which was comfortable and had a cosy seating area in a small tower as extra. Very centrally located, 5 mn walk to beach, shops and restaurants close...
