We stayed twice during Summer 2016 in Ambassador and our expectations were exceeded. As most reviews highlight the breakfast, we couldn't agree more, but the real perk for us was the play area next to the breakfast room, which our little one enjoyed thoroughly. Ambassador is a "by family for family" hotel and our fiirst choice when we stay in... More

We stayed at this hotel because of the location close by the beach and Plopsaland. The location is perfect, close by the public transportation stop, hotel located the street behind the beach and has closed parking (€10/day) at the hotel or payed/hour parking in front of the hotel. You need to park in front of the hotel first because the... More

Good location in the middle of De Panne high street with parking (charge 10 euros per night). Good reception - friendly staff. Good room with clean bathroom. Good breakfast and very good evening meal (pre-book). Good price - thoroughly recommended.

You feel Yourself like at home. Very nice welcome, helpful staff, nice and quite room. Good breakfast. Internet working well. You don't have a problem with car park. It is just second line to the sea so it is very convenient even for vacation. Really worth to stay

Stayed here en route further afield. Pleasant room but not huge, good location off the beach, best breakfast I have ever had in Belgium. Pleasant sitting room. You need to press them on arrival to let you into the car park at the back; we spent a lot of time at first looking for a free place on the street... More

The husband and wife team running the hotel make for a welcoming approach to all guests, nothing is too much trouble and the customer is always first priority. A good continental style breakfast, we didn't eat dinner at the hotel

I have stayed at The Ambassador several times since my original review in 2009, and I still stand by everything I said then. It's a lovely family-run hotel, clean, well-appointed, comfortable, convenient, and most of all, welcoming. Fabulous breakfast buffet. And De Panne is a lovely stop after passing through 'Darkest England' (and a bit of France!), on a trans-GB-continental-Wales-to-Germany... More

We had a lovely two night stay here. We had a suite which was very clean and well appointed. There is no tea/coffee tray but this is a three star hotel. We paid for the parking as it expensive to park on the street and there are frequent traffic wardens if you go over time. The owner and his wife... More

Always very friendly and welcoming the hotel is on main road but not in the centre of town. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast good. The trams do run outside and can be noisy but they dont run all night. It has private parking and is well situated for that dash to the ferry next morning. It is not cheap... More
