Very pleasant and helpful staff (the owners), Beautifully appointed room. Breakfast slightly disappointing - things on the buffet did not seem to be replaced later in the service. Had to go out the back to find someone for coffee. Would definitely stay again though.

Stayed overnight on a short shopping trip. This hotel is located in the centre of town with parking outside on street. Metered payment until 18:00 but free then until 10:00 . Short walk to restaurants and the beach.

The breakfast is really good and fresh. The owner told us that closing for a couple of months to renovate the ground floor cant... More

Absolutely brilliant stay. Our car broke down when we arrived and had to stay an extra night, the staff could not have been more accomadating, even recommending a garage. Went that extra mile to make sure our stay went as smoothly as possible, the room was comfy and very clean, good selection at breakfast, warm and friendly atmosphere already planning... More

I was very surprised by the hotel, it has a great location and although it looks a bit worn out from the outside, I can't say the same for the rooms, they are really luxurious. Clean, well equipped and a really great bathroom. We even had a balcony. The breakfast was really nice with fried eggs and local products. Welcome... More

Good hotel in a great location ,right in town centre and close to the beach. Rooms are large and comfy with a nice en suite, outlook at rear of hotel is over rooftops so no great view there. Only on street parking which can be difficult to find a space.

The Royal Hotel is a lovely hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel. The owner is very welcoming and told us where to park, a short walk away but not inconvenient. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. De Panne is an immaculate town with a selection of shops and restaurants. The weather was poor when... More
