What a wonderful discovery... Everything was perfect (including the little kitten Yvonne who we enviuraged to come and sleep with us, and Louise, the gorgeous golden retriever) , and our room especially was a delight. Arnaud, the manager, looked after us very well, and, his suggestion for our last night's dinner (Crillon le Brave hotel restaurant) was exquisite. We love...

Yes, the grounds are a little overgrown and the WiFi patchy, but our stay at the Clos was made by the superb service and attention from Arnaud, the manager. From providing stunning breakfast by the pool, to suggestions for trips, to making reservations at local restaurants, he helped us to explore and find the hidden charm of this area of...

Le Clos will not be to everyone's taste. It suited us for our travels, being close to Mont Ventoux and the surrounding area, which is stunning. We could not have been met and made more welcome, if we had been in a major hotel chain. Our suite situated on the ground floor, was very clean, and had everything we needed...

Le Clos Saint Saourde is in a beautiful area and I'm sure that it was once nice. Unfortunately, we had to leave early due to the condition. Our cottage was infested with scorpians....in the bedroom, bath and shower. It was disgusting! The pool was dirty and the landscape overgrown. A/C wa broken and wifi was spotty. Light bulbs out and...

No comment... It's so easy to write a such bad review when you don't want to understand that scorpions are used to live in our old provencal houses!!! and we are still living because they are not dangerous at all!

Le Clos is situated a couple of km outside Beaumes de Venise alongside vineyards and set in a mature garden of trees and flowering shrubs. Our room was part cave - dug into the rock - so unique. This is a nice place but, maybe because we were early in the season, it felt in need of a bit of...

We visited the Clos at the end of our roundtrip in this part of France and planned to stay for three nights. Although it is well situatied in the country side, we were so disappointed that we decided to travel back to Holland after one night. Als I wrote the owner: top b&b prices for camping service. And we could...

Our stay was amazing. The rooms are unique, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and our entire experience was incredible! It's a quiet place to stay with beautiful views and easy access to neighboring villages like Chateneuf du Pape and Gigondas. Highly recommended! :)

We spent the last week of our French vacation at Le Clos Saint Saourde. We arrived by train from Paris to Avignon and drove to Le Clos. About 45 minutes from the train station, It was spectacular, to say the least. The property was beautifully and artfully designed, enabling a great view of the mountains on one side, the vineyards...

We spent 2 nights here in the room Beaulieu. The whole place has a very comfortable, welcoming feel, with nothing too perfect, but tastefully put together. The location is quiet and beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and trees, especially appreciated by the beautiful pool area. We were welcomed by Geraldine, who took the time to make us a pot of tea...

Previous posts capture the essence of a stay at Clos Saint Saourde so it is not necessary to repeat the details. But a post cannot but mention Jerome’s hospitality. Request for restaurant bookings and suggestions of where to visit in the surrounding area were always met with ease. Nothing was too much trouble. A delightful host and a delightful stay....
