Firstly, I would like to advise people to ignore all the 1 and 2 and mostly 3 star reviews for this resort. They are unfair and although some people do have bad experiences this resort should not be avoided as I really don't feel they reflect the true image of this resort. For any golfers the two main course (Faldo and Palmer) are fantastic.Palmer is prettier and easier, honestly the Faldo off the tee is very tough, after that it is playable. Accommodation,we had a suite. It was lovely and was cleaned everyday by the friendliest staff ever. We had a few small issues, no iron or ironing board in the room. No daily water, we thought for a suite that would be provided. Pool area, this was fab,as was the sauna.Excellent all round and pool meandours from indoor to outdoor and is heated. Food, food in the restaurant just off the property was excellent and the food in the hotel and golf club was nice also. Our main issue was the lack of options during the day, very limited menu. Breakfast, excellent and staff were so friendly.Could not fault the breakfast in any way. Prices,my only real issue apart from the lack of food options during the day was the strange excessive pricing on certain items.A large 1 lt bottle of water was €8,I refused to pay, told the guy tap water will do. In the clubhouse they serve a large coke poured from a bottle that has the €1 price on it for €5.50. Now that's just wrong and needs to be sorted. Car park, their is a public car park that is around €5 per day,to park in the underground hotel car park is €12 per day.To me,in a resort which is around 45 minutes south of Berlin this is excessive. I had a few small issues and the manager came out straight away and explained they are finding it difficult to get staff. This is understandable and he seemed genuine. I should also add that the private beach is amazing and the water is almost tepid. To sum up I would come here again, the location is great, the staff are excellent and with a few tweaks here and there this resort especially when you consider the golf course quality could be very sought after.

The Hotel and grounds look beautiful but cannot quite live up to the standard you would expect. Our room was quite large and the view from the balcony really nice. The bed was also large and looked comfy. However, the mattress on my side of the bed was well worn with somewhat of a dent in the middle. Never mind the bed - the first night I slept like a baby and had a wonderful rest. The second night we could hear the guests above us moving about (sounded like furniture being moved) so it may be a good idea to ask for a room on the upper floor. I was surprised that the room did not have any coffee or tea kettle available - but I should have informed myself before booking. We had drinks and dinner in the bar the first night. The bar tender/waiter was very nice and attentive, drinks were good. However, the half duck from the menu turned out to be just duck breast (which is okay but should be stated as such on the menu). Breakfast buffet was quite elaborate - nice fresh fruit, good selection of bread, rolls, sweet rolls, cold, cuts, cheeses and so on. I ordered an Egg Benedict and what I received was quite astonishing: the egg which sat on a soggy piece of toast with a couple of slices of ham and spinach was cooked in a way that I still puzzle now how it was done - the egg yolk was almost cooked through and hard while the egg white was hardly cooked at all and slithered all over the entire dish. I have never been served anything looking like this and cannot even imagine how the kitchen managed to cook an egg this way? When I told the waitress that this was not good at all she just shrugged her shoulders... All in all our stay was okay - but did not quite deliver to our expectations. Which is really too bad - we would have loved to return as we really enjoy lake side stays.

We stayed just after New Years for a couple of nights with our two young kids. When we arrived their sofa bed was not made, but this was sorted right away after during dinner after we talked to reception. We stayed in one of the 2 storey apartments right by the lake which are pretty and comfortable-only downside is a short walk to the main building (so all clothes on and off - it was January) to go for dinner and breakfast. Huge compliments go to Kristine at the Kids Club who did an excellent job with our kids (aged 3 and 6)! The whole Club is well equipped and has a good atmosphere, but of course Kristine added all the value to it. Only annoyance for us was that we had to pay parking fee at the hotel. as guest and paying around €260/night this should definitely be included...

We arrived on a hot and humid Friday early afternoon after an early morning flight from the UK to be told the booking and back up system were not working by a male Receptionist. We were told to return in 20 minutes. When we returned we again were told the systems were still down and basically to go away. Eventually about 2 hours after we arrived we were told that a Computer Engineer had been called out, however again the 2 guys on Reception didn't seem bothered and had a total disinterest in either us or the many other guests trying to check in. It would have been nice if a Management had organised cold drinks for new guests trying to check in and stuck in limbo.. Eventually a nice young lady who worked at the Resort spoke to us and seeing our distress found our room number and opened the room using a master-card. I believe the issues with the computer was resolved at about 7.00pm, but no one at the Resort other than the nice young lady apologised for the poor customer service offered.

Knowing the Ressort from other visits in the past we were really astonished. The Ressort is very lovely situated on the shore of Schwielowsee near Berlin. We stayed in an Appartement seahouse, nice rooms, nice equipped, English land house style. Huge garden, sea and pool in walking distance. The problem is the stuff, especially in the restaurant. We had the impression they don’t know the Ressort well and the service in the restaurant was not what you expect in a 4* Ressort. Unfriendly, Slow, .... The old lovely harbor restaurant is closed.

Wanted a pool for a 5 day visit that would be a lot of driving and not much exercise. On the pictures on the net it looks like in the wooded area by the lake. No mention of the highly trafficated road passing right by the hotel. Cars very close to the perimeter made it nearly impossible to have the windows open. In addition the matrasses were protected by a thick plastic sheets that made for very damp and uncomfortable sleep. As I complained and suggested an overmattrass or a blanket above, the receptionist told me nobody ever complained. The whole outlay of the resort is very confusing. We had to use 2 different elevators to reach the room and 3 to get to the pool, which was very nice, both inside and outside by the way. Our room number was 430, but it was in the second floor according to the elevator buttons. Will not go again. If you go, choose lake view and call ahead about roadnoice.

A lovely setting with calm and peaceful surroundings. Primarily for summer, the establishment runs it off season. Sometimes in a "reduced" fashion, which is quite not clear when you book. This was also our main disappointment when we visited in May. The beach restaurant was closed and the main restaurant served a buffet dinner and nothing else. We had it for one night and it was quite ok (for a buffet), but not what we had expected or had in mind for a nice dinner. So we went elsewhere down the road... The other con was the rather stiff staff. Not rude, but not kind... The lack of an elevated service attitude did not rhyme with what this hotel in style or appearance try to be. Rooms where spacious and "cosy" and had great beds - so we slept very well. Breakfast good, but the hotel was rather overcrowded, so breakfast in the main dining room were doubled in a conference room upstairs. Worked, but indicated a problem not solved. On the whole it is a nice place, but could do with more accurate info to upcoming guests of what facilities that actually are available.

Stayed during a conference here for two nights. Nice location. Good breakfast. The room was spacious. Improvement I would see is housekeeping. Glassware in the minibar wasn’t clean. Bathroom showed also spaces that got not always cleaned.

We arrived with all the good intention for a great weekend. Unfortunately the room we received was not what we expected for 170 € a night. Nothing like in the pictures here in Bookings. We asked the reception but they told us that they have different kinds of rooms and that we had a terrace and that would still make the room a superior room. Here on bookings there is no information about it. The room was small - not 25 m2. Also you cannot use the SPA the day after check out, you need to pay extra which I find ridiculous. The Spa is very small. Only 2 saunas and a Dampfbad. Plus one small indoor and one outdoor swimming pool. I would have at least expected that the receptionist would offer me to stay at the SPA for free after the inconvenience of the room. I will not go back as the place is not worth the money.
