Amazing cheap place with very friendly staff. Really nice area with not too long of a journey to Köln. Typical European budget hotel with lots of tourists attractions nearby. No wi-fi however who needs work-fi when you are minutes away from the beautiful river Rhine.

I went here with my school last June (2015) and to be fair, it was just what you would expect from a hostel. It was fairly basic, the food was ok and the stay wasn't bad. There isn't any wifi, but the area to sit was often used by my school. The good thing about this hostel is that it's...

Stayed for 3 days with 30 schoolkids. In lovely quiet village beside the Rhine. Next to rail station with links to Rhine Valley. The owner was very friendly and helpful.Rooms were fine and good showers. Ten minute walk to good supermarket in the town, ideal for kids getting their food etc for the day's activities. They are very welcoming to...

We stay at this hotel each time we take a school trip to the Rheinland. Selfishly, I'm reluctant to be mega positive about it as we like being able to book it each year and this won't happen if we contribute to increasing its popularity but some of these reviews are so unnecessarily harsh. Location: fab - right next door...

I have just been to a school trip in Germany and we stayed in this hostel for around 3 - 4 days. For a hostel, Hotel Apostelhof was pretty satisfactory. I shared a room (Zimmer 8) with 3 other people and it was big, clean and tidy. The room consisted of 2 single beds and a bunk bed. The bunk...

Having read the previous reviews I was concerned, however this hostel was much better than I expected. The rooms were large and clean and even when we had a broken light it was fixed the next day. Every night there was a three course meals and had a wide variety of food during the week. The staff were always very...

Went their on a school trip to Germany. The same thing was given to us for dinner(swamp water that was called soup). We where told that the bowling was free but after we used it we were told we had to pay 40 euros. They almost kept our ten euro deposit because of chewing gum (that wasn't there when we...

I went with a large group of german students with my school, it was adequate but the food was awful, the showers cold and beds made for no person over 60kg. I ate the same thing every morning, a stale roll with some cheap strawberry jam, no exactly satisfactory for a group of hungry young people. Sharing a small room...
