We've stayed Hotel Gute Quelle's adjacent guest rooms (Auf der Lay) two different times: finding them to be exceptionally comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and a very good value. From the adjacent guest rooms you have a short walk to reach the hotel for its excellent food and generous breakfast buffet, but we find the quiet location worth those few steps....

Read about this small village of Beilstein in Rick Steve's book, sounded great, though we have been up and down the Mosel 4 or 5 time in last 20 years, had not stopped here. It is a suburb location as a base, and stayed 2 nights, Very small town, most park on highway when walk in. If you go up...

The food is excellent and not overpriced. The Quelle has superb staff, friendly and extremely helpful. Can thoroughly recommend the Quelle, a gem in one of the prettiest villages on the Moselle. Not to be missed. Recently updated it has lost none of its charm.

I stayed at Hotel Gute Quelle in Beilstein with my Mom last summer. I really enjoyed it. The staff were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. They were helpful giving us suggestions on places of interest to visit and telling us what was going on in the town. The rooms were very clean and the food was delicious. They...

I arrived with my wife & daughter, looking like drowned kittens caught in a downpour without reservations. But the receptionist (I've forgotten her name, so sorry.) smiled at us and told us that she did have a room available. The Gute Quelle (translation: The good source.) I can only guess that the name refers to a good source of drinking...

As a family of 5, it is often difficult to find an affordable way for my family to travel in Europe on weekend getaways. During a recent trip to the Mosel where my family of 5 (consisting of three children aged 4-11), this hotel was selected both through the use of the Rick Steves guidebook and through the comments left...

Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers), we came to Beilstein for 3 days, for some fresh air, away from big cities, from work.... Beilstein is really small and you've seen it in a few hours but my goodness!! It's such a cute village and Beilsteiners are so friendly, but without doing too much, just what's necessary to make...

My wife and I have been frequent visitors to Hotel Gute Quelle over the last 14 years and without doubt it is a fantastic place to base your stay in the Mosel. If are looking for a traditional German guesthouse with comfortable rooms and the best food in the area then look no further than here. The host's and staff...
