Bad: We booked online into the Hotel Fuhrmann staying in their guesthouse room. When we arrived we were told to go up the road to another hotel (Hotel Ellenzer Goldbäumchen) once there we were given a room in a separate building behind their hotel, they call their Annex. As we had booked through the first hotel we thought we would...

When booking ensure you are booked in to the hotel and not an "annexe", a building which is completely separate from the hotel. We were put in the annexe which is a good walk from the hotel; down the road, up a hill and around the corner. Breakfast was very basic and the staff were quite rude. Not much to...

This is a good and clean hotel. The service is excellent and because we were at half-pension we had also dinner there. The breakfast buffet was really excellent with a lot / to much to make a choice. The dinner buffet was good"buergerlich" and sufficient. The shower cabin was too small and specially thinking to be in Germany.

Full pension means: ok breakfast; other than soup & bread: no lunch; dinner: fat and untasty food. The worst part of eating there meant HAVING to have your food with other random guests at the same table (while there was plenty of room). They advertised "sports and entertainment" & "free public transport", but upon arrival they knew nothing of that!...

We stayed here for 1 night, but would not stay again, it was a cheap hotel, so shouldn't expect much. They advertise wifi which we could not get from anywhere in the hotel. It was very hot and no aircon. Our rooms were actually not at hotel but we had to walk up a hill and then right to a...

1. Wrong info on bookiing.com, for double room price was 44EUR, so we decide to stay there simply because this hotel was the closest to our last tourism object. So we went there (almost 2100). And surprise, there is no hotel manager, only waiter and waitress who dos not speak english. Finally, they told us a price - 80 EUR...

We spent 2 nights at this quaint hotel on the Moselle River. The location was perfect for exploring the small towns and wine cellars in the area. The wines made at the Fuhrmann's was quite good and we enjoyed sitting in their little bar and sipping their crisp dry riesling. We did eat in the hotel one night and had...

I Came here in December on Christmas market tour of the area. A little bit out of the area but near Cochem (10mins) and only 50mins to Koblenz, As being the only group in th hotel were allocated rooms all in the main hotel building which was a bonus. The staff were very welcoming and although I can speak a...

We are a couple in our 60s with extensive travel experience in Europe. We particularly enjoy the smaller, family owned hotels and B&Bs for their intimacy and character. Location of the town comfortably south of Cochem was very good. Cost of the hotel was average at *approximately* 85 Euros for bed & breakfast. Location of the hotel in the town...
