A small family hotel complex of three villas, standing on a hillside with a panoramic view of the village and island of Mohlos. Each villa is independent, ensuring full privacy with its own surrounding area, its own verandas, patios and greenery, its own swimming pool and its own parking spaces. All three villas look out over the vast blue Sea of Crete, the beautiful islet of Mohlos with its Minoan ruins, the imposing "Kastelas" peak and other mountains, Mohlos and the nearby villages and the lovely farming landscape with its small plain, hills and foothills cloaked in silver-green olive trees. This is a magical, inspiring and peaceful spot.

we found at this location everything we wanted: fairytale view, comfort, exemplary cleanliness and especially extremely welcoming, kind and benevolent hosts. They were waiting for us with a wonderful traditional cake and a delicious sweetness (Yannis, Katerina, sorry I left you without supplies 😊. Thank you once again for that wonderful cake for being with me for my birthday! We all think of you with great pleasure, we hug you and we can't wait to come back!)
The location is a few minutes walk from the beach and the taverns of Mohlos, easily accessible. you can make trips to Ierapetra and Sitia (40-45 minutes by car).
We recommend with confidence !!

If you are looking for a paradise place in Greece, then this is where you need to stay. The 3 villas are the perfect place if you want to enjoy your holidays and experience the traditional Crete. Mohlos is probably the best place I've seen in Greece (and I've been there more than 10 times).
I'll be back there!

We have holidayed in the mediterranean for many years but Mochlos is the most friendly and authentic place we have stayed. The Mohlos Villas are stunning, so tastefully finished and what a view! You really are treated as special guests of the Petrakis family, who are so proud of Crete and what it offers. This is the real Greece with a modern twist in the beautiful accommodation. Just go, relax and absorb the atmosphere.

We found out Mohlos Villas on the internet and we fell in love with this charming village at the end of the world.
Despite our late arrival, we were greeted by Mr et Mrs Petrakis as if we were members of their family.
The house is perfectly situated: 200 meters from the village and its charming taverns and beach. The house owns all commodities including a very nice swimming pool, air-conditioned in all rooms and maid service made every day. But it is almost the kindness of the owners that makes your stay in Mohlos unforgettable.
We have only one desire: to return as soon as possible.

We have just come back from a month staying in Villa Alkestis. There are three beautiful villas , Alkestis, Kalypso and Mousses. Alkestis is a comfortable four bedroomed villa and was equipped with everything we wanted. Julianna was perfect in ensuring the villa, gardens and pool were kept in perfect order. The villas are in a great setting just a few minutes from the fishing village of Mochlos and the island with the ancient Minoan settlement. To the east are the mountains impressive and moody. We found our time relaxing as it is so peaceful and quiet except for the occasional dogs barking.
The welcome provided by the Petrakis family is becoming legendary on Tripadviser and we echo the comments of those who have already recorded their kindness and generosity. This certainly helped make our trip memorable. Thank you Nicos, Maria and Yannis.
As we stayed for a month we found it essential to have a car though there is a taxi firm in the village. All the tavernas in the village are good though our favourite was Café Dimitris. There is also a shop in the village with all the essentials. There is a boat service to the island which we’d recommend as even if you are disinterested in the Minoan site it is interesting to see the mainland from a different perspective. The journey across takes 2-3 minutes, the cost most reasonable and you ring the bell on the island when you are ready to come back. We went on excursions to the nearby main towns of Sitia, Ayios Nickolaos and Ierapetra. These all have plentiful places to eat, near the sea or to have a glass of orange juice or ice cream. They also have Lidl supermarkets. Sitia was our favourite destination and we also visited the monastery of Toplou just beyond Sitia. It is an impressive monastery and also makes its own wine. We would recommend visiting the wine tasting if you are at all interested in wine.
This was our first visit to Mohlos Villas but we hope it won’t be our last and it was a perfect holiday.

We had a fantastic week at Mohlos Villas. The Villas are suberb in their style, comfort and extra touches, it was a pleasure to stay there. The Petrakis family who run the villas are amazing people who are very kind and welcoming. The villas are very well maintained and the views are amazing. I would definatly hope to go back to Mokhlos and stay at these villas again. Mokhlos as a place is excellent if you want to stay somewhere that is not packed with tourists and has a good mix of restaurants and cafe bars. Its suitable for couples and families. I look forward to our return visit!

We just came back from a two week vacation at Mohlos Villas. We stayed at the Kalypso for a week and Askestis for another week. The interior is the same in both villas but Kalypso does have a lot nicer exterior (Askestis is very nice as well but Kalypso is...a dream) and the view from the terrace and the pool. The villas are beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very spacious. The whole set-up is very smartly planned and optimized. The owners are amazing, the best hosts we've ever had. They will do their best to make you feel comfortable and help you with useful tips and ideas. You will feel spoilt with their discreet attention and treats. They can get you a good rate for a car rental. I am sending our thanks to the whole Petrakis family and I wish them all the best in the future.

Yannis and his family are gracious hosts, the house is clean, green and well appointed, the pool sparkles and the view of Mohlos town and the island set against the blue Aegean is priceless! The house gets sundrenched from dawn to red fiery red sunsets and is spotless. The a/cs are quiet and work well. The town is a 5 min walk down the hill where you can get great food, mojitos and crepes, and connect with the fisherman to bring up the catch of the day to bbq on the deck. A quick 2 min boat ride takes you to the minoan ruins on the island off Mohlos - worth an afternoon's exploration and pictures from the top of the hill.
Yannis keeps the house well stocked with the basics - bread, cheese, raki and the Internet.
The best part of our week-long holiday at the Mohlos villas was the balance between services and peace. Yannis knows when to offer services - rental car, boat, kitchen services - and when to leave his guests alone to enjoy the house and the town. His gracious parents - including his dad the ex-mayor of Sitia and his mom the artist and gallery owner - threw us an amazing dinner. Memorable vacation with our friends, Yannis' Mohlos villas are highly recommended!

Moholos Villa and the beautiful fishing village below were everything we had hoped for and lots more. The Petrakis family could not have been more welcoming and helpful with their first class service.
