Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I stayed at Stelia Mare for three nights on our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it. Accommodations were first class. Our room was huge - we had a nice balcony, the bed was comfortable and the room TV had streaming. The pool and the whole pool area/loungers was exceptional. But, the best part about the hotel was the staff. Everyone we encountered went the extra mile. If we make it back to Paros, I'd be delighted to stay again.

What a great place - Cannot speak highly enough about the cleanliness, the breakfast, and most importantly - the staff which are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in every regard. They can arrange your drivers, ATV, etc. As well as make great suggestions for where to go. Highly recommend taking an ATV and going to Monastiri Beach for lunch, Cocktails and beach time. HIGHLY recommend for a very reasonably priced place with great breakfast and even better people. Timothy and Natalie travelling with two other couples in early October.

Stel and Setlios looked after us so well. They hotel is quiet and beautiful, all areas and our room were super clean and the decor is in perfect condition. Breakfast is great with lots of choice and excellent coffee. Good choice if you choose to have lunch at the hotel too. We couldn't have asked for more, our room with a sea view was comfy and quiet. The pool area is a haven away from the winds that make the beach a bit challenging some days. I'd thoroughly recommend the very personal touch of this hotel if you are looking to stay bear Naousa, its only a few minutes walk into down, but you do need to be able to walk up and down a hill with some steps. We had a wonderful week here.

We travelled with a large group of friends for a significant birthday. Our stay at Stelia Mare was perfect from start to finish! We had a room with a view with a bed that was as comfortable as our own at home. The staff- especially Stel and Stelio were professional and friendly. We loved the sumptuous breakfast as well as time spent in the pool, steam room and spa. The town was a short walk away with great restaurants recommended and booked by Stel - not easy with a large group of 14! Stay at Stelia Mare- you won’t be disappointed!

We recently spent 6 lovely days here. The staff were all wonderful and professional. The hotel is ideally placed in a quiet part of town but close to the beach and small supermarket, the walk into the gorgeous town of Naoussa take approximately 10mins with lots of bars and restaurants. Be sure to check out Safran for a super dinner. We really enjoyed our stay and our chats over a night cap drink with Christos the evening bartender.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was so relaxing and Stel, Stelios and Chris looked after us so well - and always with a smile! The breakfast buffet is extensive and poolside is a great place for an afternoon drink. The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and the main town.

Superb hotel in a great location 10 minute walk to Naousa Paros harbour restaurants and tavernas. The welcome from Stel was quite exceptional. He was there to greet us on day one when we arrived to the day we left. A very professional young man.

We wish we could have stayed longer here during our Greece adventure. Paros is perfect and a quieter / less crowded version of Mykonos with amazing beaches and downtown area. This hotel is in a safe walkable (10min) distance to downtown Naousa. We stayed here 3 nights but felt like it wasn’t enough as the beaches and downtown area are unforgettable. The staff and all the Stelios’ fellas are extremely friendly and welcoming. Ask Stelio at the bar to make you a breakfast Freddo Cappuccino it was the best in all our Greek travels. Our room was very spacious and bed was so comfortable. The patio overlooking the distant beach water was private. The pool is so refreshing and pool area is perfect to chill out at all day or go to a beach and then end your day by the pool. Prices are very reasonable and all food made on-site is very good quality. Complimentary breakfast was the largest supplied for our entire trip with many options and if you want something else like an omelette, Stel will make it for you. Stay here and you should not be disappointed.

First, the good: The location is fantastic as you're only a couple of minutes away from the restaurants and shops in Naoussa. The on-site staff is exceeding helpful, and the breakfast is solid. Other than that, as another reviewer mentioned, it's more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star, so as long as you set your expectations it's a decent stay: it's a little bit worn and dated, the "gym" is quite small/old for a hotel that's marketed as a wellness spot, and the pool isn't heated so it was impossible to get in in mid-May. My main gripe was around the poor customer service that I had: The hotel made a mistake in charging me twice for reservation deposits, and it was not handled well. Instead of refunding me directly to my credit card (which is how they charged me), they insisted on refunding me to my bank account and refused to just refund to my cc. I'm assuming that this is due to the fees they would be charged by refunding my cc—they never really gave me a reason as to why they couldn't do it. The last thing I wanted to do while on a very brief vacation was to get out my laptop, locate my bank/routing numbers, the correct bank address, etc. to rectify their mistake, when they could simply reverse the cc charge. In the end, several weeks after I had gotten home, I had to follow up more than once with the hotel over email, and we were able to resolve it with a bank transfer. That said, the amount originally deposited was 341 euro (around $370 usd), and in the end I got $342.19 usd back to my bank account. Overall, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth. Wouldn't stay here again.

We couldn’t recommend Stelia Mare highly enough . The staff are amazing and so friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and we felt like family by the end of our stay . The hotel is small, intimate, immaculately presented and ideally situated a very short stroll to town but in a quiet area and very close to a lovely beach. The breakfasts are amazing with everything you could wish for. We will definitely stay again if we ever return to Paros. Thank you again to Stel and the entire team.
