Outstanding view from most hotel rooms. Sits on top of a steep hill, about 2 miles from centre. You will need a car or scooter. Very nice pool and pool area. Adequate breakfast with lots of homemade pies and cakes. Breakfast area is rather small when hotel is full, can be a bit cramped or inadequate seating. Parking also tight when hotel busy. Internet dreadful in certain blocks..hardly worked at all in ours Ground floor rooms can hear everything from those above, showers, toilet banging, crashing etc…. Basic room could do with updating but fine for us as we are out most of the time. Very friendly accommodating staff Glad we went and had a great time, but wouldn’t go back
We spent five nights in a triple room; though just two of us, the extra space was nice. We had a lovely, shaded balcony with a beautiful view of the bay and Parikia below. We had a lovely stay here - though quite simple, the rooms were clean, well maintained and comfortable; we certainly didn't spend much time in them anyhow, as there was lots to see and do, as well as the pool to relax by. Breakfast was good - and the array of cakes was stunning! We're not talking about just some simple, ordinary cakes, but rather an ever-changing array of delicious cakes - for breakfast! Staff were friendly and provided excellent tips for dining. We didn't have a car but didn't mind the walk in and out of town each day - about 25 minutes and pleasant. A taxi costs about EUD8. Also a short and pleasant walk around the peninsula to some decent beaches and a good restaurant. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the port was appreciated. We had a great stay, and enjoyed the peace and quiet of Akrotiri.…
Our third time in Akrotiri Hotel! We love all in Akrotiri and particularly the staff, from Marousso to Margharita, MARIA (Bravo! ), Krissa that was in Athens this year (😘) to our Argentina barmaid com waitress ! We must not forget Kostas! We really feel at home and have our favorite room (🤫 top secret). Sincerely thank you for your warm welcome. Keep smiling. You make our lives good! Martine Clément
The Greek Island of Paros and Akrotiri Hotel were magnificent! Welcoming hosts, homemade breakfast, beautiful views and clean rooms. We were greeted with lemonade with a twist and our luggage was taken to our room as we relaxed in the outdoor patio. The entire experience was priceless. We are blessed!!!
We have stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our tour of the Cyclades. The hotel is beautifully situated with a view over the bay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. 2 weeks before arrival we were contacted to pick us up at the port. The breakfast was delicious. Wide choice and nice and fresh. Shame about our short stay but we will be back for a longer period. No doubt.
Where to start? Just finished an 8 night stay here. Great free transfer service to and from the port. A welcome arrival and always friendly staff. Great welcome introduction and went through local recommendations etc and lovely fresh lemonade on arrival. Views were amazing from both the bar and balcony, lovely, quiet location. Food was fab, we ate lunch at the restaurant a few times and great quality, as were the breakfast. It’s at the top of a steep hill (which is why the views are so great) so if you aren’t keen to walk we would recommend a car. We love walking so happily walked the 15-20 minutes into town each night. 15-20 minute walk to two fab beaches. But it is hard work walking back up the hill! Rooms were fresh and clean. We love Paros and it’s our favourite island so far on our trip. We will definitely look to stay at this lovely hotel again in the future!…
We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this fabulous hotel. Our arrival was delayed due to a ferry mix up ( our fault!!) .. but even though we eventually arrived after 11pm we were still collected at the port and greeted with lemonade.!!! ..in the morning we woke to the most beautiful view from our balcony..absolutely stunning. The room was spotless and very comfortable with A/C and a small fridge. The whole hotel was so clean throughout and in the current situation we felt very safe. All staff wore masks and were adhering to guidelines at all times. The breakfast was amazing with numerous choices daily of hot and cold food including lovely homemade pies and cakes!!.There were drinks and snacks available all day ( I can recommended the mojito!!)and all the staff were very polite and helpful. The pool was gorgeous and also well maintained..just perfect for relaxing with plenty of beds and parasols available. We also went to a couple of nearby beaches which were beautiful. You can walk to the beaches ( there are some shortcuts taking about 15 to 20 min)but this would not be safe in the dark ( we always returned by taxi at night about 7-8 euros from the town). The driver from the hotel kindly dropped us off a few times which was great. We visited a number of restaurants in the town which were very reasonable with excellent food (Katerinas taverna, Aroma and Cavo D'ora to name a few)and sitting with a cocktail whilst watching the sunset was just perfect!!. I can recommended having a Gyros for a cheap meal(2-3 EUROS)!!!especially at Stavros's near the bridge in the town. We went on a small ferry to Antiparos which was a lovely trip ( only 5 Euro each way)from the port and we walked everywhere but exploring further would need a car /scooter which are easily hired ( we will do that on our next trip but we ran out of time on this occasion). We will definitely return to this stunning island with its relaxed atmosphere. And we will also return to this hotel .. absolutely brilliant service from start to finish..oh and Peo the gorgeous resident dog was a welcome addition for us as we were missing our dogs..!!! ..can't wait to come back!!...…
We stayed in Akrotiri hotel for four nights. The hotel was based quite away from the Parikia port. The hotel offered us a free transfer which was great and the driver Kostas was very helpful with our luggage. As we arrived quite late, we were offered a glass of fresh lemonade. The view at the night Parikia port was amazing. The room with a balcony had a great view as well. The hotel seamed to be refurbished recently. The bathroom was small but new and clean. There was fully working little fridge and AC. The bed was comfortable. There was no little kettle or coffee facilities though. Breakfast was served downstairs from the reception, inside and outside, with all COVID precautions. The food was delicious! Always served by daughter and mum, fresh homemade Greek delicatessen. They were very polite and always smiley. Actually, all the hotel staff was very pleasant. The pool was a nice bonus. Even though, we had a rented car and visited many Paros beaches, we spent few late afternoons around the pool before going out for dinner. With not so many guests in the hotel we were always the only ones there. Plenty of sun beds, water cleans and fresh. There was enough parking next to the hotel. You would need some kind of transport if you stay in Akrotiri. It was a definitely the best option for the hotel with a pool.…
I failed to write a review last year but in the current climate I feel the need to say how good this hotel and staff are. 5 stars all day long. Hoping that we will be back in September for our 3rd visit. Rooms are modern, service is impeccable. It’s like being part of the family.
Everything was magical...everything was easy... I can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful hotel. Friendly, helpful, room was peaceful and perfect, I was never made to feel like a salute traveler. My favorite stay in Greece.
