Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Argonauta Hotel in Parikia Paros for 4 nights in Sept 2024 as a couple.
What we liked:
Check-in: quick and efficient. Our rooms were on the first level and our bags were carried up by the front desk man(apologies I forgot his name, but he’s also the owner of the hotel). There are no lifts but it’s an easy walk to the first floor.
Location: Hotel is right in the heart of Parikia, a flat 4min walk from where the ferry drops you off and right in the old town. There are restaurants just outside the hotel and a 2 min walk will take you to many restaurants that are on the ocean promenade. The promenade is pedestrian only. It’s also a short walk to the old castle. The main bus terminal is also a 2 min walk with buses to many beaches, the airport and Naoussa (the other main town of Paros). It is without doubt the best location. If youre into shopping the location won’t disappoint, as soon as you step out of the hotel there are shops in every direction.
Rooms & Hotel: We stayed in a double room overlooking the narrow streets of Parikia. Room wasn’t large but perfect. It was super clean and had everything you needed, including a çomfy bed , safe and great quiet air-con. Breakfast was included with the room and this was served at the front of the hotel facing the large square. The breakfast was amazing and we would highly recommend including it with your room booking. Big shout out to the breakfast staff they were simply the best.
We would highly recommend the Argonauta Hotel to our family and friends.

Great centrally located hotel in Paros. Our room (Agora Suite) was actually in a separate building about two blocks from the primary building but I really loved that location and our quaint balcony overlooking the Paros streetscape. We dined every morning back at the breakfast offered at the primary building and it was another delight - fresh juice, eggs many ways, pastries, etc. We did book this hotel with miles from American Airlines.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights in the beginning of October. The hotel is very close to the bus terminal and port - 3 minutes walking (use the passage by Albatross Restaurant). The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. The rooms are located upstairs and there is no elevator, however, someone from the staff helped me with my luggage. I had a double room, which was very clean, the bed linen and towels were rather luxurious. Breakfast was incredible – it was my favorite. They give you a menu and you get to pick everything you want from it – which makes it more like a brunch. A little suggestion: leave plenty of time to eat if you plan on having breakfast. However, if you have no time to eat, there are plenty of places around the hotel where you can grab something to eat, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel is in a very nice location, close to places to eat, shopping, transportation (both local and to other cities) and sightseeing. The staff are incredible and accommodating. It went above and beyond my expectations and I would definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed the hotel, its location, and the friendly personnel. However, I was disappointed that during our six-day stay, the bed sheets were not changed, and only the towels were replaced. Additionally, the breakfast offered was the same every day, and for the price of 160+ € per night, I expected more variety and a larger room. Overall, I don't believe it was worth the cost.

Return after 15 years, rooms seem smaller, stairs steeper- there is no elevator -
Location , 5 minutes walk ferry terminal and many restaurants and old town.
Newly renovated, very pleasant colour coordination.
Room comfortable with flat screen tv - two English speaking channels, air conditioned with ceiling fan, secure wall mounted safe
Comfortable beds
Balcony - off room with pleasant outlook over square.
Bathroom is very small and shower tends to flood floor and toilet. Wall mounted toiletries.
Breakfast, is served 8 - 10 am, a la carte limited choices but delicious and adequate.
All staff encountered during our stay, friendly and helpful, especially the lady, whose name escapes me at time of writing, very helpful, efficient and friendly - thank you 🙏🏼

Our recent 7-night stay at Argonauta Hotel in Parikia, Paros Island, was thoroughly enjoyable. Located in the heart of the town, just a short walk from the Port, ancient streets, and the small shops, and close to Panagia Ekatontapiliani Church. The hotel's central location made exploring the area very convenient and enjoyable. The room decor was tasteful and comfortable, contributing to our pleasant stay. The staff at Argonauta Hotel were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Breakfast each morning was very satisfying, providing a great start to the day. A special thanks to Tassos Ghikas and the team for their hospitality. Overall, our stay at Argonauta Hotel was excellent. We would consider returning in the future and absolutely recommend to others.

Charming, clean and comfortable boutique hotel, centrally located in beautiful Parikia on Paros. 5 minute walk from the harbor and close to all the shops, restaurants and waterfront. We stayed in a comfortable suite with a private bath & small balcony and shared a kitchen with another room. Breakfast on the patio outside the main building of the hotel, included in the price of the room, was fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

What a perfect hotel in the centre of Parikia! My husband and I had planned on staying on Mykonos our entire trip to Greece. But when we arrived, the weather forecast was quite cold. A quick google search told us that Paros was going to be 10 degrees warmer all week. So we hopped on the ferry and booked the Argonauta Hotel VERY last minute (as in, 12 hours before we showed up!)
Thank goodness they had space. This hotel was a dream! The location is in the very centre of Parikia, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. Our room was small, but very clean, and had the most charming balcony overlooking the white washed alleys.
The breakfast is delicious. And the staff at the hotel are very warm.
We rented an ATV each day from a company the front desk recommended, and were able to explore the whole island.
We will definitely be back to Paros next summer - and will absolutely be staying at Argonauta again! Thank you for an incredible experience

Had a day trip from Naxos and overnight stay at The Argonauta. Ideally situated just 3/4 minutes from the port and on the doorstep for the town. Tassos the owner couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of freshly prepared items, eggs, fruit, toast, cheese etc., After a great day in Paros including a trip to Antiparos, we were told our return ferry to Naxos was delayed until after midnight, unfortunately Tassos had no available accommodation but went out of his away to find something for us. In the end we decided to catch the late ferry. Tassos allowed us to leave our luggage and freshen up at the hotel whilst we wandered the streets (and bars!) of Paros, including a cafe/bakery across the road which was open until 1am before heading for the port to catch the 22.50 ferry which actually arrived at 01.30!

Hotel ideally located a few steps from the port and at the entrance to the old town. It has been completely renovated since our last visit. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast served on the terrace, square side, is excellent and very generous (squeezed orange juice, we love it). Truly unbeatable value for money for Paros.
