Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is well located in Parikia - walking distance to all the shops, ferry & bus services. It is a boutique style hotel. The bedroom & bathroom we were smallish, however very functional. We stayed for 3 nights and it worked well. They had fantastic breakfasts. Conveniently located very close to a fantastic bakery. There was a large undercover atrium on the first level for pre-dinner drinks, which has a very relaxed feel. The staff were excellent. There was no lift, however staff were willing to help with the luggage. We would stay there again.

Walking distance from the port and with the Paros bus system this worked great to explore the island without a car. Rooms were clean, breakfast was outstanding, and staff was incredible. Affordable price and would stay here again.

Don't look any further--this is the place you want to stay! The location is perfect...a very short wander from the ferry, and surrounded by perfect little shops. Loved the rooms. Very comfortable, bright, LOTS of hooks, and a darling little balcony. The toilet is in the shower, but makes a perfect prop for shaving your legs and storing your accessories! The open air hallways were delightful. And we could not say enough about the breakfast--best we had on our two week vacation. A total delight. Only sad that we were only able to stay one night.

Excellent location and thoughtful staff! This is our favorite hotel on Paros. It’s an easy walk to the port as well as shops, restaurants, and museums. Great breakfast, coffee, tea which was very convenient. Locally owned and a wonderful vibe in the centre of town.

We had two rooms at the Argonauta Hotel in Parikia, from September 19-September 22. The location is fantastic, just a minute's walk from the ferry port. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms were clean, very comfortable, and quite stylish. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, with great options. The staff was pleasant and helpful, providing information on restaurants and places of interest. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Parikia that is walkable to everything.

This is a lovely hotel in the center of Parikia. The location could not be better! Despite being in town it was very quiet at night. The room was very clean and comfortable but small. The drain for the shower is in the middle of the small bathroom so the floor does get wet. Small details for an overall excellent stay. The breakfasts were unbelievably delicious and plentiful. The staff are wonderfully helpful and provided excellent suggestions both before and during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed two nights. This is a quaint hotel which also fronts onto the city square. Our room was above reception, so not facing the square. We had a small balcony. Good amenities, great air-con, small fridge and fabulous breakfast! Would recommend staying here.

Had a day trip from Naxos and overnight stay at The Argonauta. Ideally situated just 3/4 minutes from the port and on the doorstep for the town. Tassos the owner couldn’t have been more attentive and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice of freshly prepared items, eggs, fruit, toast, cheese etc., After a great day in Paros including a trip to Antiparos, we were told our return ferry to Naxos was delayed until after midnight, unfortunately Tassos had no available accommodation but went out of his away to find something for us. In the end we decided to catch the late ferry. Tassos allowed us to leave our luggage and freshen up at the hotel whilst we wandered the streets (and bars!) of Paros, including a cafe/bakery across the road which was open until 1am before heading for the port to catch the 22.50 ferry which actually arrived at 01.30!
