This is a contemporary upscale hotel about 500 metres from the centro historico on a busy main road SS16 in the town. Decor is muted greys and clinical whites. Room was well appointed with balcony overlooking the sea and the main road. Traffic at night was noisy. Pool area was delightful but up 100 steep steps from the restaurant on 2nd floor. The restaurant was excellent serving Mediterranean food and wines very reasonably priced. Breakfast was a buffet but socially distanced so served by staff. Hot food was just eggs but the pastries, cold cuts and fruit were fine and staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Parking was free in a large gated car park across the road. The hotel was a comfortable walk from lots of dining options in the town. It was very clean and observed hand sanitising and mask wearing rules at all times. We would return.

We came for one night, but stayed for two, because of the hotel itself ( everything is in place) and because of the people working there: they all make things happen to male you feel being welcome.
We had a joniuor suite and enjoyed a great view to the White City from our terrace or from the pool during the day, and from the restaurant terrace in the late evening.
Definitely a place to visit once a grogain

Nice hotel, very friendly service throughout. Room we stayed in was nicely done out if a little on the snug side. The pool gives great views of the city and is worth the climb, and the terrace bar provides a nice setting for an afternoon drink. Buffet breakfast is a little clunky given new Covid regulations as you need to wait for one of the team to get you all your food and drink. Would stay again.

Dear guest, thank you for the time spent reviewing our hotel. We are very pleased that you have appreciated our panoramic pool and the new lounge bar that has been so successful this year. The Covid regulations changed our habits (no more buffet breakfast by your own, more distance between us and masks on our faces) but it is better to respect new rules for our safety. Best regards Teresa Saponaro

We booked a room through the hotel website. For some reason, our booking was registered and prepaid the very same night we booked the room instead of 20 days later when we actually planned to visit. Of course, the hotel did not contact us on that day when we did not turn up. Why care, since the room was prepaid?
I realised the mistake prior to traveling to Italy, and tried to get the booking corrected. To no avail, even though the night the room was wrongly booked was in the lowest of the low season, just as the country was reopening for tourism after Covid confinment.
They only "generously" conceded to offer us a 10% discount for "rebooking" the very same room I had already paid for. Instead of looking forward to our trip to Puglia, we weres just left with the terrible sad feeling of being ripped off.
They visibly could not resist making easy money on the back of foolish foreign tourists, knowing they are left with no recourse against them.
Instead of looking forward to our vist to Puglia, we were just left we the bitter aftertaste of having been ripped off.

Dear Mr. Stefano, we have been so sorry to read the words used to point us out as “thieves who rob poor tourists”. It's not part of the way we work! The booking, erroneously made, provided, as usual, the setting up of a unique room type that on that day was ready to welcome you and that we promptly removed from sales pending your arrival, so it remained not sold. In this historical period, you will understand that it is not the best to lose a room even if it is a distraction. Unfortunately it may happen that guests do not arrive for any reason but having prepaid the stay, we still guarantee the room, breakfast and all other ancillary services. It is petty to leverage the current national and international situation that has affected all sectors of our life and it is equally petty to demand, threaten and slander a hotel that does its job very well, as confirmed by the other reviews.

Good hotel a short walk to the town. Breakfast was good. Beware that the water bottle in the room fridge is charged at 2 euros. Better to fill your bottles at breakfast. Walking into the town there are plenty of restaurants.

We stayed one night in this fabulous hotel, just before New’s Year’s Eve. The hotel was sparking clean and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has free parking space and is 10 walking from the historic city centre. Recommended!

We recently spent a week here as part of a group. I indicated that I was a coeliac when booking with few expectations. To my surprise I got gluten free pasta, breads, cakes and excellent service without ever having to ask. Our room was spotless, modern with well equipped bathroom. Yes there is road noise but with the AC on and windows closed we didn’t hear the traffic after the first night. Staff throughout were friendly and very helpful. I would particularly like to mention Bart, Magdalena, Antoinetta and the maitre d’ in the rooftop restaurant. Their service was very efficient and always pleasant. The hotel is located within walking distance of the beautiful town of Ostuni. There is a bus stop across the road and a timetable for the bus to the beach is available at reception. Read carefully in order to plan return journey…..not all buses leave from the beach! We loved our stay here and would definitely return.

Lovely hotel lovely people but on the website it stated that it had a pool. However they have sold the pool to the nearby apartment block and is not for hotel use. There is a wellness centre in hotel and a pool for relaxing in at a cost of 45 euro for 75 mins not ideal when with a group. Real shame everything else was perfect with this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast and fantastic view over the old town. But at this price point these things are really to be expected.

The problem however is that I feel this hotel is very misleading in its description and photos.

Examples include the swimming pool that is only for use by those staying in the villas, so if you are in the hotel there is no pool (except the very small one in the spa, but that is an extra cost).

Yes is it only about a 10 minute walk to the old town, but it is not a nice walk and those with prams/pushchairs/wheel chairs would struggle.

Yes there is a fridge in the room, however the “minibar” is a list of items you can phone and order from room service.

The “panoramic balcony” in my room was very small and directly faced another part of the hotel, giving hardly any sun.

While there are no specific problems with these things, it wasn’t what I was expecting based on the hotels website. Had I known all this in advance I would probably have stayed elsewhere.

We stayed here for a few days and it was OK at best. The hotel is situated on a busy street which causes quite some noise at night. Due to COVID the breakfast was buffet was handled by two staff members, which lead to long lines. Coffees and other drinks had to asked to other staff members, but this was equally as slow. Sometimes we were done with our breakfast before receiving our drinks. We could not access the pool as this area was only for the suites. The rooms were clean and the cleaners were kind. For some reason the bar in the lobby was always without staff, so we could not enjoy a cold drink most of the time.

Apologies for delay as I don't look at TA that often! I would suggest Googling for a hair salon but I don't recall seeing one n Ostuni when walking around. There must be one though. I also don't iron on holiday so can't answer that question either but the staff were always very helpful so I suggest emailing the hotel.

How easy is it to get into town from the apartments

The whole resort is built on a hill so therefore not suitable if you're not fit. We chose to use the steps going down to the town but the quiet road coming back up . The road coming back up is one way so a taxi would have to do a circuit of the town to get you back.

There is also a bus that takes you and brings you back from train station. The stop for same is opposite hotel on the other side of the road Ticket machine at train station never worked during our stay, but tickets can be purchased in bar instead much easier (andata e ritorno)
